I tried submitting a ticket about this but was directed here to make a post!

Normally when I quest, I hold CTRL and left click the "Shop Search" link under the items I need to open a new tab with the shop search in it. Lately when I do this, the link doesn't open and instead tries to download. It happens like 40% of the time. It also can happen when I right click + "Open link in new tab". I always go to my downloads and cancel it before it finishes. It's very odd.

It has also happened in my inventory when hovering over an item and trying to open the shop search in a new tab.

It hasn't happened anywhere else on Subeta or off-site, which makes me think it's a Subeta issue and not my mouse or browser. I am using the newest version of Google Chrome on Windows 10.

I did some more quests to test your suggestions; I am not sure it is either of the things you mentioned. Sticky keys are off and I was sure to be deliberate in hitting Ctrl only. Although I did have it happen to me with a left-click (no keys) on the "Start Quest" link for a Library quest which has not happened before.

Update 12/29:

Today I am using only the mouse to open links for questing / items. Right-click + Open link in New Tab is also triggering the link download. I also had another instance of left-click on "Start Quest" with no keys pressed start the link download.
