Welcome to Subeta! I'm not sure what kinds of avatar/pet sites you're used to, but this place is a different experience. It isn't as convoluted or crowded as Neopets or Gaia, and a lot of folks here are older/more mature than on some other sites. Plus the pets are gorgeous ^ ^ You picked a great time to start, with all the luminaire (Christmas) activities going on.
