I hope this question isn't already answered somewhere obvious. I tried looking but maybe I'm just using the wrong keywords, I dunno.

I would like to find a way to prevent the red 1 showing up on a tab that I have open for my user or pet profiles.

I often keep the profile tabs open while I have another subeta tab open, and not only is it annoying to have the alert pop up on every tab, but I like to keep profiles open when I'm studying them and thinking about what next I want to do with them. I don't want to have to keep refreshing them whenever someone replies or one of my pets is done training. It's a minor annoyance, but it grates.

So, anyone have the answer to this? Thanks. :)

Well there's just no preference setting for it on the site. If it happens to be run by an isolated script, then it could be blocked with a browser extension, but I doubt it's setup like that (and also can't find it).

NoScript disables the script that does that, but it can make the rest of the site look a little wonky since the red number notification isn't the only thing that's run by that script.

I think it's either tied to iubenda.com or bootstrapcdn.com, but I don't know if customCSS can be used to block those.

I have the opposite problem. For some reason my red alert icons are gone and I want them back. ;_; I don't know why they stopped appearing.

Yeah, I figured some browser add-on could change it, but since I only want it gone on certain pages (I don't want it totally gone - it's still useful), that wouldn't be an option for me.

Well, that's weird! Do you still see an alert in your sidebar? If you ever figure it out, let me know. It might be useful for my purposes. XD

Yeah, I get the sidebar alerts, but none in the browser tab/title. I USED to get them, but they just stopped working a few weeks ago. I thought Subeta got rid of them, but I guess not!
