How long did it take you to get the password?

: It happened so long ago for me that I don't remember, exactly, but it was not long after I joined -- maybe a week or two.

When it happens, there's not much fanfare. It just shows up at the top of a page like a random event does, and if you're not paying attention, you might miss it.

That's not a big deal if you do miss it, because your character will remember it automatically without you having to do anything special.
