I'm doing a watercolor painting for a friend of iron bull from dragon age. It's the only gift I'm making this year unfortunately but I didn't have the time to make other gifts.
I usually do! I just need to find my glitter gel pens and colored pencils before I get started on this year's batch. Usually I do a weird or geeky theme with a Christmas flair to it.
I made my two sisters and my best friend pottery boxes! For my friend, she loves bears so I did it bear themed. Claws on the sides, and trees and a bear cutout if the front. My sisters got a harry potter themed box and a star wars themed one! I get to pick them up monday so I can post pictures here!
I also made two mugs, one for my brother in law and the other for my sisters boyfriend!
I made cards this Christmas. I did them all digitally, but then had them printed. I'm really excited to send them. They're definitely more special than the usual cards and I'm really excited about the quality of the paper they are printed on. I think it's definitely something I am going to keep doing every year just with new designs. :)
I didn't make any handmade gifts this year, but there were some given out among my family that I wanted to mention (in case other people needed ideas for gifting!) One was a hand-painted chalkboard made from re-purposed wood with coat hanger hooks along the bottom. Also given out was homemade applesauce, made from apples from the gifter's own trees! It was yummy and extra-special because it was home-grown!
