I don't know if this is already in development, but I really feel like there should be achievements for the Minion Zoo.

Right now it feels like I'm putting them away in a hidden vault for no real purpose. Before the Minion Zoo came out, I stored them in a gallery because I was very excited about collecting Minions and see my numbers grow. I could separate them into special categories. I can't quite pinpoint exactly why I feel off about the Minion Zoo, but I'm guessing it's because I can't see any progress in my collection. In the gallery I could see how many I've collected and feel accomplished.

Of course, this is just based off my wants and not a flaw or anything in the website. It would definitely enhance my experience and maybe some other users.

All in all, I believe achievements for the Minion Zoo will add another exciting goal to work towards in Subeta.

Collection achievements are definitely a thing here, so I can see this as something along the line of other ones Subeta does.

It's not the same as a Beanbag or Plushie, more along the line of sets in the Wardrobe.

This seems reasonable, especially now minion collections have become a bit more official. It'd be nice to have achievements for certain groups of minions alongside the usual 'have x amount of minions in your zoo' sort of thing.

I agree with , I could see having some achievements for certain sets of minions. Like maybe Melody's Minions 2016 or whatever. Or just other achievements for groups that kind of go together, or even some random assortments.

Maybe even a few for having X amount of minions in your zoo, but I'm not sure where to draw the line on tiers for that.

The only difficulty I can see with this is the fact you can currently remove minions from the zoo.

Not that it's a particular problem, exactly, although I think there was a reason that you can't take beanbag/plushie collection items back out again and the same reason might apply to a minion collection.

That said, I'd also like to see the minion zoo be good for something. I don't use it right now because it seems purposeless.

I don't think it would need to be permanent, since the wardrobe achievements are already like that. You can get the items for the achievement and then remove them just fine.

Although I would like to see something else be done with the minion zoo eventually, because I don't really do anything with mine currently for the same reason.

I'm actually liking the whole wardrobe-like achievements more and more. It has good incentive(also I'm a sucker for possibly more themed minions >.>)

The other thingy that might be worth making Achievements for is if the Neurogalaxy battle mechanic is re-introduced to the Zoo. You could get Achievements for levelling a minion, or having minions in a set have certain abilities, or one kind of minion have all the special abilities available to it, and a total wins.

Yes I would love this! Give people more reason to use it. I wish there was a backstory or information about the zoo explaining how it came to be and why.

Well I think originally it was supposed to have a battling component to it, but that ended up being really complicated and would have taken a lot of work to implement. So it's been shelved for now, and basically the only function of the zoo is storage for minions so they don't take up gallery space.

Oh interesting. Can't imagine how it would have tied in with battling though. Staff should find a new special purpose for it since it's pretty pointless as it is now.

I like the idea of having achievements for having themed sets. Bonus if they use the animal species in a pun forum title or stickers as rewards.

Ohhh I really like this idea!! I always want to buy Minions from the Quest Shops or Millionaire Center and then ending up not spending sPs or points bc putting them in the Minion Zoo is with no further use. Penny-pinching ftw! 😆

most definitely support having achievements for this collection :) especially as it seems kind of pointless for people not interested in the minions to put them in the minion zoo

also maybe there could be some kind of site wide event where we free trapped minions, they follow us home and we keep them in our minion zoo?
