Just curious - do people gift whatever happens to be in their inventory? Do you buy items specifically for your MM? Do you come up with a theme, or typically send a certain type of item, like wearables, elixirs, food, etc.?

Also, in terms of budgets - do you have one? Do you try to match the value of gifts you receive? Do you send gifts even if you don't receive any back?

I'm just wondering how people approach their MM. I personally love buying gifts that tell a bit of a story, and hope that my MM can figure it out XD And I generally start very open-minded in terms of budgets, but when I don't get anything back, I stop sending my gifts. Bums me out because I really want to splurge on someone awesome!

I start at like 100k of cute/luminaire themed stuff from my inventory and vault. Haven't had anyone who's online for long enough to really go to war though :P

I only really participate in MM if I have the time to keep on sending. Usually, I send something small to test the waters and see if the other person would like to participate or is just in it for the gifts - usually a collectible item, wearable, or a currency. If so, I like sending gifts that are quite general since I don't know what the other person likes. I also like to match value of what they send me. If they are quite generous, I'd like to return the favour.
