Don't have too much recommendation besides house of suns and the old man's war series! Would like to see your guys recommendation for the book series you like!

What kinds of things or series do you like to read? That may help people give you better recommendations. :)

It would be these three mostly. Sci-fi Mystery Fantasy.

I know John Scalzi's already on your list, but his book Lock In is a good combination of sci-fi and mystery.

Try reading something by Haruki Murakami! He is a brilliant author and has sort of a magical surrealism style to his work. I would recommend starting with 1Q84, it's long but is so worth it.

Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher, and his Dresden series if you've not read that. The Drizzt books by R. A. Salvatore, all of them lol.

If you're looking for a vampire/witch series to read I am currently reading the series starting with A Discovery of Witches and its pretty good. It's a love story about how a vampire falls in love with a witch and vice versa. It has a lot of historic content in the series.

I just finished reading Lament for the Fallen, which is a sic-fi novel set in Africa, unlike any other sic-fi story I've ever read. Highly recommend it; it was a great book!

Red Rising trilogy, Riyria Revelations series, and I second the suggestion for The Dresden Files
