I haven't played in a while and I'm needing to up my weapons
has some helpful advice here. If you look around in the Set Advice forum, you can see advice given on T9 sets, some of which might suit your budget, whether at the moment or in the long run.
For freezer, the best one for T9 and above might be the [item2=Intricate Energized Helmet] which you can make by combining components bought in the Battle Shop. You can look up the item name in Subetalodge to see what components would be needed for certain parts.
If you haven't got enough Extremely Hard tokens to make the Helmet, another Once Per Battle (OPB) freezer from the Battle shop such as the Gate Keeper Collar of Slavery would also be nice. Another option to consider is the [item2=Scientist Specs]
For clutch healers, of course the classic [item2=Reviver of the Lion] and the [item2=Phoenix Quill] would be worth keeping in your armory.
Then for Stealers, I find it very handy to have [item2=Recycle Blaster] and [item2=Soma Tablets] on hand. They can be used to blast weapons of challengers that have stealing disabled.
For weapons, I find it best to keep several items in your armory so you can tailor your set to match certain challenger at this stage. Besides the ones recommended in the post I linked above, I also think the following may be of some use sometimes and don't cost an arm and a leg:
[item2=Sierrac Basal Ice Flail] scales with your speed [item2=Frost Thorn] can be made through the Asmodeus Lab and it should be cheaper than buying the Frost Thorn straight from the user shop. The ingredients can be looked up on Subetalodge. [item2=Rapier of Error] also makes a decent budget-conscious addition to your armory. Then if you've got the budget, then I'd also recommend: [item2=Replica Minotaur Knocker] which can be used against The Recycle Beast
Actually most of the T9 challengers don't block ice so I could get by pretty well just with the Frost Thorn and the Sierrac Basal Ice Flail for up to Level 20 in Battle Quest. As you move on to T10 it's recommendable to have weapons with some healing and blocking in your armory, but I guess you'll have many more options when you get to T10.
