So I click on the (-) to get rid of the "You can dig in the coda caves again!" or any other event, and it just pops me up to the top of the page, like I refreshed, with nothing deleted.
after you press the - and it refreshes the page did you try to do a hard refresh (ctrl + f5)? that worked for me o:
I have the same problem. Just tried a hard refresh just after pressing the little (-) and it won't to anything to the events. Neither has it worked after the refresh.
Just tried that a couple of times, and it is not working for me :/
what browser are you using? the hard refresh thing worked for me on firefox
Having same problem here. I hard refreshed, cleared cookies, restarted my computer. I am using Chrome on my pc and safari on my cell...having same problem with both.
I'm using Chrome. I rebooted too :/
I just came here for the same issue ):
Even if I manage to remove them from my dash it still says I have 10 events
This is really driving me nuts >_< I remember it happening in the past, but can't remember if I was able to do anything about it or if it has to be
I have tried Chrome, Firefox and Safari. I have cleared cookies and restarted my computer and iphone. I have disconnected my router and restarted it ...I really thought the router would help. I am pretty sure that is what I had to do last time ?? ...but it did not work this time :(
I really hope an admin can find some time to help us with this. My events are becoming unmanageable 😭
Also having this issue in Chrome. Clearing cookies, hard refresh, and restarting my computer do not fix it.
When I click the (-) next to events, it bumps me back to the top of the page and adds a '#' to the end of the url and that's it.
It's getting crowded in my notification widged aswell... And I don't want to put the CW releases I follow on mute or even worde my talkative bunch of friends.
Really hope this gets fixed soon! does some cheering for whoever will work on this
Edit: To be happy or not to be? I just got a forum giftbox notification. xD
I have been Googling and I am wondering if it could possibly be solved by clearing the java cache? Anyone know how to do this on Windows 10?
Edit: apparently Windows 10 doesn't support Java? ....shows what I know x_X
Be sure you check your browser settings and ensure that you have javascript enabled. (Java is NOT the same as javascript, despite the similarity in names!)
It's enabled. I know I had this same issue years ago. I thought I'd solved it by restarting the router, but didn't work this time 😞
Have you restarted your computer? I hate to give the stereotypical "turn it off and turn it back on again" advice, but that often helps with this issue.
Went to check javascript but it already was enabled, so at least with firefox that will not do anything. :/
Well, if it had been disabled, it would. ;) That is the cause of this issue. But my next suggestion is to try restarting your computer, if you haven't already tried that.
Third thing to try is (temporarily) disabling ALL addons/extensions you're running in your browser, because there are quite a few that can interfere with site function.
Yes, I did try restarting my computer. Disabling extensions did not help either. The important point I believe is that I am having the same problem on safari using my iphone. It is not just a problem on my pc. That makes me think it is a subeta issue ...?
Are you using any CustomCSS?
