It's a great manga/anime that's currently ongoing in Japan but it's not really popular, which is sad because it has a great story, great characters and good development. One of my favorite series so far and one I wouldn't like to see die because of unpopularity, so I come here to tell you folks about this amazing story you gotta watch. I use KissAnime to watch it.

For weeks, Atsushi Nakajima's orphanage has been plagued by a mystical tiger that only he seems to be aware of. Suspected to be behind the strange incidents, the 18-year-old is abruptly kicked out of the orphanage and left hungry, homeless, and wandering through the city.

While starving on a riverbank, Atsushi saves a rather eccentric man named Osamu Dazai from drowning. Whimsical suicide enthusiast and supernatural detective, Dazai has been investigating the same tiger that has been terrorizing the boy. Together with Dazai's partner Doppo Kunikida, they solve the mystery, but its resolution leaves Atsushi in a tight spot. As various odd events take place, Atsushi is coerced into joining their firm of supernatural investigators, taking on unusual cases the police cannot handle, alongside his numerous enigmatic co-workers.

CHARACTERS BASED ON ACTUAL AUTHORS(etc) hell yeah hell yeah. I prefer the prequel + back season to the very first one. As much as I love Atsushi, I cannot stop needing more and more Dazai x Chuuya bro fights and whatnot.

i finished the first season but could only watch like the first three episodes of the second because of time/internet problems but can't wait to get back into it!! i'd say i'm liking the second season more because it just feels more... serious? i found the first season to be a bit too jumpy and unfocused at times welp also i love dazai a lot okay a chuuya. he's on my phone's wallpaper lmao

Yeah the second season had a lot more story than the first, maybe because the first was to introduce the characters and their backstories? Or so we could get acquainted with them. Either way, I'm loving the series. Waiting for the next episode :D
