There are 2,182 species/color combinations on Subeta, and I'm sure there is one that you'd love to have but it just doesn't work for you. I'm not talking filled petslots here - I'm talking those pets you think are just darn fine to look at but don't really go with the aesthetic of the rest of your pets! Or maybe you don't think you could encourage their personality to the best potential. I feel you, pet lovers.

My pets Woodruff and Barli are perfect for my household. They fit the energy of the girls perfectly! I could probably do with a new pet to help me look after the forest a bit more. And as much as I love 'em, I probably wouldn't choose a reborn mortiking!

For one, I live in a log cabin in a forest. Reborn pets are typically NOT great in Veta. Also, these guys are pretty huge. I wouldn't really know what to do with them. So I have to admire them from afar, or enjoy what my friends are doing with them as their pets. It's great to see what other people do with their pets, right?

So what's your 'can't make it work but I still love it' pet?

I have a mishmash of pets of all different styles, so fitting in isn't necessarily an issue right now (maybe later when I can narrow down what pets I actually want) but as much as I love love love love the Nightmare Noktoa I'm not sure I can do it justice </3

I really like the nostalgic pets in general but I honestly don't know what I would do for a story or even for a name for them. They always look great I just don't have many ideas.

I love escalades - any color, i find them very interesting! but i think it might cause problems if my pet was smarter than me, haha!

I love Sweetheart and Nostalgic pets but I don't have any sort of idea or character in mind for one so I just can't justify having one because in general I want my pets to be ones I could write about. ;o;

Spectrum and blacklight pets. Their colors and flow are all so stunning and happy, but I just can't seem to work with them. Which is hilarious, cause man I am basically a walking rainbow. Waiting on the noktoa to see if it will work with Samandiriel. Hydrus pets, even for my pirate pets ! Their design is so amazing, but I can never work with them.

Seragaki, my chibi experiment , doesn't fit into any of my pets groups or roleplay worlds but I do love him so...

I love the Angelic Demi, and even with my spread of different types of pets, it just wouldn't fit. Not to mention I'm not sure I could come up with a good story for one. The same goes for DM/Spectrum/BL pets; I just cannot find a story to fit to some of my favorite species of them and they don't connect with some of my other pets as well.

For me it's basically ALL the nostalgic pets, lol. They're adorable, I love them and I had one but he simply didn't fit my other pets, it looked like he belonged to someone else so I morphed him and repainted him xD

I love the cherry and aqua tigreans, but I have no idea what I would do with them if I ever managed to get them. >.<

I really love all the experiment pets, especially the chibi ones, but I just can't think of something to do with them. I have been zapping to get the different pet color achievements, and I have gotten some really awesome outcomes. I also adore the Neela in all the colors, but I can't think of a name that would suit one.

I had a nostalgic warador for a while and it had such a great name/color combo but I just couldn't get my creative juices flowing for it :/ such a disappointment.

All of my pets are sweet and beautiful but I decided I needed a mean looking one to build up for battles so got Archdemon Ravenand he does not fit with my sweeties

I absolutely love Chibi pets, and I have 2, but most of my pets are more serious looking - reborn, darkmatter, etc. Also I have 1 scribble pet and he barely fits in anywhere lol
