Hey there, as the title says I just recently came back from a year long break. I've managed to catch myself up with most things but I'm struggling to make some concrete plans for Tarrant's soon-to-come upgrade into Tier 6, along with some other things:

First off, how strong IS Tier 6? Should I start trying to get to level 20 of my battle quests or are the opponents still too strong? Can I beat Resting Meatslab five times? Should I still be hoarding my stat boosters for later?

Anyway, my set; I'm currently running these, and swapping them around depending on what I'm fighting

I already have , , and a , which I think are still good upgrades? I'm a little confused with what else is a good investment out of everything at this tier? I saw that weapon sets are now a thing (YAY!) and I'd like to have a decent set for everything; no healing, no freezing, etc.

Also, I was always a little confused about scrolls, what kind of things should I have at this level? And I guess my Intel should really be higher, right?

If you take a look at this thread here, it is a guideline for which challengers you can beat in your pet's tier. Of course, it may be possible to beat someone in the next tier up, but that is dependent on your weapons and your patience as you will take a lot of losses.

You can use your boosters whenever you feel like. The earlier you use boosters just means battling will be more expensive, but you will increase in tiers faster. For my first pet, he was in T7 for the longest time until I accumulated enough boosters to get him to high T9 so that he would be closer to T10 and able to use more of my good weapons. My second pet was only T6 when I started giving him boosters because I stopped giving my main pet any boosters that had level in them for a while.

As for your set, I would definitely add the reborn icewand and replace the ice rose. I think the porcelain doll steals? Your soma tablets/blaster will be enough. My default T6 set is composed of the minotaur knocker and frozen ocean curl, but the reborn icewand is better than the ocean curl since it also heals your pet. I would invest more in scrolls than weapons at this tier. How much AP does your pet have?

Scrolls can be equipped to your pet in addition to weapons and cannot be stolen by your enemies. Some scrolls are infinite use and some are only once per battle(OPB). You can equip more than one OPB scroll. The more AP you have, the more scrolls you can equip. Scrolls can be used along with your weapons to provide extra attack or extra defense or extra health or a little of all three. They can also freeze your opponent. AP increases after every 16 points of intel, but only when you read a book to your pet. You cannot gain AP from boosters, you can only gain intelligence from boosters.

Tarrant is sitting at 37AP right now, but I have a book list for him. The only scrolls I have are Cobalt Eternal, Terra Focujin, and Sonar Scream, along with some really weak ones from my tier 1 days. Any suggestion as to which scrolls I should be after? (That scroll list is so long xD)

Those are good. You may want more of the cobalts or make some sancturia exodin scrolls depending on who you are fighting. I have found perilous whirlpool scroll to be very useful for the fire block and chance to freeze and at only 7AP a piece. I would also invest in an infinite use scroll like the aftershocks scroll. Gift of the forj will be a great scroll when you have around 1 - 1.5k+ health. For now, morosbane is the more practical substitute and I think is still cheap.

They sound vaguely familiar, guess that's a good thing. I can't get many of them yet but it's nice to have something solid to work towards; I find it much easier to save that way :) I'll be working on his AP too, so I can actually equip all these scrolls.

If you train straight HP, you should be able to start to beat level 20 of battle quests soonish.

Especially if you have Mirroring Shield of Brilliance and Chancelors War Shield.
