My battle pet Lavaleos has finally hit tier 12, and I'm hoping to get some set/scroll advice, as well as stat priority.
Lavaleos Stats: Level: 1246 Health: 3446 Strength: 2979 Defense: 2921 Speed: 2661 AP: 109
I've been using exp from the battle quests to boost her HP, and the training center for everything else until she has 3000 in STR/DEF/SPD, after that I don't know.
Current Set:
My two attackers are modded with 1 crit 1 singed 2 blessing, rainbow vortex is modded with freezing and the rest are modded with blessing.
Scrolls: X2 98 Total AP
Nothing special here, just using the generic scrolls, using Aftershocks as it appears to be a upgrade from Terra Focujin.
Your set and scrolls look solid, although you shouldn't need the Divine Denizhen Scroll anymore. If you want to diversify your set, may I suggest investing in . They'll give you a bit more coverage against specific icons. Anything better will either be earned from achievements, site events, or bought from the Millionaire Center.
Personally, I spend my EXP on strength and use battle tokens / training to bring up HP, but you should definitely start thinking about what you want your final build to look like. I think that will help most in determining how you want to spend your EXP and train going forward. Besides, I think your battle tokens will be tied up for a while if you are already working on your ?
Thanks for the info! I am planning on switching my attackers with Unstable Sample Syringe and Cronus Blade once I get round to acquire them.
I'm a little befuddled with the speed stat, is it important? I'm hoping to get everything around 3000.
I've already got Volatile Energized Mecha and it took the place of my Rainbow Vortex for a while, but decided to switch when necessary.
Some weapons scale based on your pet's speed. Apart from that, it mainly ensures you avoid critical hits from your opponent if your speed is greater. People who choose to have low speed in their build compensate with high health to absorb the crit hits, but that varies from person to person. I find that method typically makes battles longer, which is not something I would be interested in myself. If you want to look at some pets for build ideas, I suggest looking over the top rated pets.
Thanks again, I didn't know that! from what I've seen a lot of pets who's stats are balanced, with HP and STR being priority.
In regards to spending stats, you said you spend EXP on STR and everything else using training/battle tokens, what stat boosters do you recommend buying from the BS? the individual stat boosters with easy tokens or the Mixed Blessing Potion with hard tokens?.
I also do Shinwas Quests and Graveyard Quests for boosters
Your default set is literally my default set, save for the rv. I swapped that out for the ornate hook swords. What is your budget like? Dark, fire and water can be very useful blocks. I would buy comet flash as a decent dark blocker now that you have over 2.5k def. save up for Natasha but you can make do with more perilous whirlpool scrolls. The flail will be a nice water blocker until you can get manifesting weapon. You may still find yourself struggling though until you have higher stats, but completing BQs will definitely be achievable.
As for scrolls, I would sell Divine denizhen as aftershocks should be your default. Beat general error to get a psycho smasher scroll. I'm not a fan of gelaspell so I would add more shrieks or psycho smasher.
Oh really? guess I'm doing something right.
So is RV useless? and should I mod the hooks like my other attackers? My budget is flexible when I can be asked to make dosh, so is the hook sword and natasha both worth it? I do plan on getting manifesting weapon once Lavaleos is strong enough.
Only 5 wins and I got my hands on Psycho Smasher.
RV isn't useless, but at some point you will find you've outgrown it because the opponents don't hit you as hard anymore :D
The easy token boosters will be the best value. I choose to buy Limitless Endurance Potions because HP costs more EXP, so I think this way I get the most out my my EXP/tokens :P
RV is not worthless, but I find for BQs it's more useful to have three or more weapons to chose from to get through them quickly. For some opponents I will equip rv because I only need two weapons and the extra block is nice. The best thing you can do is have a weapon for each element that blocks a lot of one or two elements. I mod my ohs with 1 each of crit, singer and parched. Both of them are definitely worth it. Priority wise, maybe buy Natasha first, but it depends on the opponents that are giving you trouble.
I just want to say thanks to both of you, you've helped me a ton.
I'm saving for Natasha now and just want to know, once I do get ahold of Natasha and Hook Swords what should I swap them out for? HS in place of my RV but then what should I swap with my Nata? is Blessed Trident better compared to Paintbrush blades in the long run? on the other hand, I am working towards acquiring Cronos Blade and Unstable Syringe Sample, can they fit into this set?
I know this may not be important right now, but just out of curiosity, what is the end game set? or weapons I should defiantly have.
Again, thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.
Unstable Sample Syringe is a really nice weapon in the more affordable range. Both Unstable Sample Syringe and Cronus Blade block magma icons so you really only need of them at a time. And Blessed Trident is definitely better than Paintbrush Blades in the long run. There's nothing really wrong with collecting as many T10-T13 weapons as you want since having a diverse set that you can tailor to each opponent you come across is very beneficial.
Our end game set in battling contains god / demi-god weapons, which include many of the ones listed here: God Weapons & Their Equivalents Basically, anything that blocks 75-100 icons, heals 9-10%, and has four mod slots fits into the godly category.
Blessed trident is my absolute favorite weapon. I am going to swap out my PBB for natasha when I get it. The trident is more useful than PBB IMO for its blessing and curse. PBB feels like an entry level T11 weapon that's great until you can afford the nicer stuff.
Once you get the cronus, the syringe becomes less useful except for certain situations where you have your opponent dealing ice damage. Ideally, you want to fill your armory with weapons like cronus, natash, OHS and ME that block 90+ earth, light, dark, fire, magma, water, wind and physical OR weapons like the syringe that block 40 of two icons. There are only a few weapons like the syringe that do this, but I am sure they will release more. You want an armory that give you the most flexibility to swap out weapons for all kinds of opponents.
I feel the same way Wesker, as soon as they sold the last few bobbles heads I needed, I grabbed them just for that trident.
So I've got a lot of saving up to do, but weapons wise I'm going the right way, but with regards to scrolls, if I have enough AP would having 2 whirlpools, shrieks and psycho smashers be a good idea? I've made an extra whirlpool today and was told to get an extra shriek or psycho, so I might as well get both?
I'm also prioritising my stats as such:
I'll be bumping them up 1000 points at a time, using battle shop boosters/gym for HP and EXP for everything else, and of course doing the battle pet dailies.
I have various scroll sets saved depending on what I need. I have a default set that has a few healing scrolls, freezing scrolls and full blocking scrolls. For my freezing set I have 2 shrieks, 1 psycho smasher and 6-7 perilous whirlpools. shrieks/psycho smasher are expensive so I made a bunch of perilous whirlpools for the freeze and they also fully block fire.
Sounds like a solid build. At some point you want to consider what your final build is going to look like and then you will have a better idea of how you want to distribute exp points and boosters.
iirc, Psycho Smashers are something like, 300m since you only get one from the achievement. You might as well just stick to Shrieks :P
I really like Fatal Fire Scrolls because fire/dark blocking can be expensive. Assassin Scroll is also an interesting alternative to Gelaspell if you want to free up a little AP.
