Anyone else think the the Cherry pet color should be revamped? I don't have any art to demonstrate what I'm imagining, but I think if the Cherry color made the pet look a little more fat and glossy like real cherries, it would look amazing! Most of the Cherry pet colors just look like the rest of the more mundane pet colors like arid, cream, etc., etc.... I think Cherry should be revamped to stick out a bet more from the rest!

I understand your sentiment but Cherry is considered a colorfill. So yeah it is mundane because it is just a color scheme and not something that requires being redrawn. Your suggestion would mean that all the species would have be redrawn to be chubbier and have added highlights. Later down the line when species get revamped themselves as a special color it would have to be updated as well instead of just changing the colors. It is just not something I see happening but could be easily done with a custom overlay with the cherry color tagline still. It is still a really cute idea.

Cherry just came out though...? Even if it wasn't a color fill, why would a relatively new color need a revamp?

I got six Cherry pets because they were just colorfills, I don't want glossy or fat pets. I have a theme on my account, and having pets from one color being slightly different lineart wise would ruin it

As for cherry.

Honestly, not all pets necessarily need to cater to a certain aesthetic nor should they. I like the simplicity of cherry and I like that fact that it's not overly shiny because as others have said it's meant to only be a colorfill color, not a completely new color with a new pose. I own a cherry keeto and really, sometimes, all you really want is just another colorfill color and that's really it.

Colors like the teal pets and the cherry pets originally came about because users stated they wanted more basic color colorfills instead of having more fancy posed color pets.

True. I understand now that it is just a colorfill, as I already said, but I had originally thought it was a unique pet color or at least that maybe it could be a unique one. Seeing as it was originally made as a colorfill, I get that now making it a unique pet color would be a bad idea, not to mention would completely change the value of everything that is cherry.
