Hello. I am looking to commission a piece for two characters of mine who happen to be brothers. I am looking for a piece that would have the two of them together engaging in some kind of act with a background included. I would prefer digital art, and it would obviously be full-body. Um, colored as well! Here's some information on the brothers:

Merdic is the older brother and is a mage. He uses his magic frequently since the need often seems to call for it. This has caused some physical and mental problems. His red hair is streaked with lines of pink (wild magic) and white (stress). He has rune scars on both arms. He also gets extremely bad nightmares and seldom sleeps and can be incredibly forgetful. Despite this, Merdic is an optimist. He's generally kind, and is willing to lend a hand when needed. He's passionate about his magic, and is willing to teach others about it. Merdic is also very strong in his magic, and because of this does his best to stay out of the limelight. He doesn't want to overshadow others, and tends to be seldom seen. He's more often spoke about than seen.

Azdric is the younger brother, though he tends to take on many roles that an older brother might. Azdric has no magical abilities, but has never minded that Merdic has his powers. He's charismatic and has a showmanship streak to him. He'd likely be a television host for a reality series, and in his world has hosted magical shows set on stage (though these were more to lure Merdic out of hiding when magic began to fade from the world). Azdric looks after his older brother when he can, and encourages him on his use of magic. He helps run a magical school that the two of them built, and many of the students seem to come to him for advice despite his lack of powers.

Here are some ideas of poses I have thought of, though I'd be willing to listen to ideas from the artist too!

-Azdric and Merdic helped create an academy together. So I was thinking of maybe something with Merdic sitting on a teacher's desk listening to Azdric talk while leaning against said desk.

-A wizard needs to read to keep up with all the spells in his arsenal. Maybe something with Merdic reading a book and Azdric looking fondly on? The little brother needs to watch out for the older one! Or something like this (warning: big picture)?

-Azdric is always intrigued by magic, and likes watching magical displays from his brother. So perhaps something where Merdic is displaying his magic with Azdric looking on.

So, yes. I think this gives the basic gist of what I would like. As mentioned in the title I am willing to pay in USD. I prefer not to pay directly upfront, but am willing to do something like where I can pay half after seeing a sketch, and the rest when finished. Or whatever might work for you. I might be willing to pay upfront if you can give me a solid time frame for when I might expect the piece! If interested, please ping me. :) Thanks!

I'd like their clothing to be more holiday themed, please. I don't have particular ideas for the pose or background, but I can tell you a bit more about the two! The male is named Rue and the female is Fion. They are also magic users, and are apprentices in the school set up by Merdic and Azdric. They have powers of telepathy, and can speak to each other through their thoughts and are learning to read the minds of others. As sibling they are very close to one another. Fion tends to be more happy-go-lucky while Rue is more sulky. Usually Fion is the one getting Rue to do things, and he does it because she's his sister.

I'll do my best, then ^^! I should be give you the sketch today or tomorrow, because I have to go to walk with my dog in a few minutes, but after that I'll start the sketch :) Also, my teacher, the one who helps me out with prices, says he has no idea of the background as well lol :,D So... I think I'll do a few sketches, show them to you, and you'll decide wich one you like the most? :) Also, how much is your limit for the background? Sorry for so many questions ;v;

Oh, it's fine! I don't mind questions. In terms of price, I don't really have a limit. I suppose it depends on how complicated the background is. We could maybe settle on a price after a sketch has been chosen?

Absolutely :)! Sounds good to me ^^ Drag it to your bar so it'll be better to see, it's a big canvas. I made it greyscale so it'll be better to see and understand. It's the fisrt sketch so it's all messy, but I think you can get the idea :)

I think it's really cute! I like the concept a lot. As for the price on the background, maybe an extra $20? So I'd be paying $75 total? I don't know if that sounds fair.
