I went to the Book Nook to restock and got a warning that my connection is not private. The URL says - https://52.3.251.20/shop.php?shopid=9. The https is in red with a red line through it.
It's happened twice now. I'm going to the Book Nook from the Main Shop page. Other shops are fine.
i'm getting the same warning from my inventory. the site went down while i was in the middle of questing and when i went to see what i had in my inventory. really annoying, but what else is new?
edit: i'm on chrome, btw. i couldn't access the site at all on firefox, like said.
Yeah, I'm getting this warning from a pet battle as well. This is the text of the error: Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from 52.3.251.20 (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID
I get this via Firefox for the whole site. Downforeveryone said it was just me, so I now checked via Explorer, and I can access the site. I hope any admins or programmers see this quickly, since a lot of others won't even know the site is up, and that it's just Firefox blocking the whole thing.
It says: Your connection is not secure
The owner of 52.3.251.20 didn't correctly configure their website. To protect your data against theft, Firefox didn't make a connection with this website.
[edit] Edit: Chrome also gives access to Subeta without a problem, it's just Firefox that completely blocks it due to the not secure thing.
I am getting it in chrome on the pages that were active whilst whatever happened happened. Which for me were subeautique and tempest. The other pages are fine in both chrome and ff
(Chrome) I'm getting that error on my inventory page (but book nook is fine)

Guys they are looking into this. One staff member said clearing cache helped so try that!

I cleared my cache, rebooted, etc. Nothing has helped.
Sorry that didn't work for you :( but I promise they are looking into it!

I believe you. Was just giving you that info in the off chance it may help lead to a solution (:
I cleared the cached images and files and it finally let my inventory load. Maybe try again? :-/ Good luck!

I had this error for awhile around 5-6 no idea if later. Used Chrome. When the site crashed turning into an IPS address, no matter how you tried entering the site a privacy warning had popped up.
Needless to say, it really freaked me out.
I cleared my cache (Chrome) but when I try the bookshop it says the site can't be reached. The URL is https://52.3.251.20/shop.php?shopid=9.
I then switched to Opera which I've never used for this site before and the bookshop is fine.
PS: Went back to Chrome and was able to buy a book from the Book Nook through shop search. I then tried Book Nook from the main shop page again and I was able to get in with no problems.
To confirm: clearing cache alone didn't work for me. I had to also clear the web buffer (that's what it's called in Dutch, don't know if that's the same in English :P), and then I could access it again.
But indeed, it's only my bookmarked page (news) that I couldn't reach on firefox, other pages load fine. It might be good to also post this on your facebook page, since people might not realise it's only the first page they visited last night that doesn't work.
What I would like to know is: Are we supposed to change our passwords now or was it just a hiccup we don't have to worry about?
