okay, i'm really not sure if this is a bug because i guess it makes sense to get an event every time something is bought? it's annoying as all hell but it sort of makes sense.

anyway, i keep getting the "you have shop purchases" event over and over again, and i wouldn't be making this post if i definitely didn't remember this happening the last time i was active on subeta -- i swear i used to get just one event and wouldn't get another until i cleared it. it's extremely annoying to be waiting on a certain event and have a notification pop up and then it just turns out to be another sale. so i'm curious if this is a bug or just a new "feature."

as far as I know, you only get the event again if you go to the sales history page where the notification takes you. You can disable the alert though if it is bothering you.

if you go to your shop, then go to "edit shop", there's an option called " Receive Events:" and select no on that :)

on a side note - your ping came under the "Shop Purchases" category of events xD

I'm pretty sure it senses what category it should be in by using keywords in the alert itself and since it sees shop purchase in the forum title, it puts it there.

If you have the word group or it might be "forum group" in your thread title, it'll come in as a group ping
