who else has devoted a disgusting amount of their time to this game? any funny stories to share?

i've been playing since i was literally 10 years old, so for about 10 years. i joined a few months before the release of Burning Crusade. when it finally launched, i remember being so confused at all of these players running around as these weird, blue aliens... before some kind player took mercy on me and explained that they were draenei, a new playable race!

i love this game, though the community is pretty... sucky, most of the time. i just hang out with my friends, rp, and mostly do pve. how about yall?

I've been playing up until Lich King lol. I started when I was 11, my dad got me into it xD. I found interest in other games so I haven't played in a very long time, but I remember collecting all the pets available. I miss playing sometimes but my friends never want to pay for it so I eventually get bored playing alone :B.

I've played WoW really on and off for the past 5 years or so, since MoP. :p I'm a super casual player and really just like to have fun with my friends instead of taking the game too seriously. It's a lot of fun though. My main's a belf rogue on Illidan.

I think about how much time I've devoted to this goddamn game and it makes me ill. I started a week before BC launched and now I'm a resto shaman for a guild that's working on Mythic Emerald Nightmare.

My guild turns 10 in March. I started playing in late Vanilla and just never left.

I've been playing casually since Vanilla, and raided pretty heavily during Pandaria. Been playing exclusively on Wyrmrest Accord alliance.

I started playing WoW sometime during MoP. 2013 the exact year. Watched a video of someone playing it, looked fun, my brother got me started since he'd been playing since the beginning. I haven't stopped playing since then. Been in and out of guilds, never got big on raiding. Did a few just for giggles but I mostly liked playing without the raiding and few dungeons. My main is a Night Elf boomkin on the Zangermarsh server.

I'm weirdly obsessed with transmog and change it like once a week. I play on both Tichondrius and Thrall. I switched Thrall in March of last year after meeting my Guild Master at a comic convention.

Hai~! ^3^ I've been playing since just after BC was released, My cousins bought me a battle chest. They got tired of me watching them play lol. I used to love sleeping over on raid nights. I'd sit there and watch them play for hours, and was just sooo fascinated. I never lost the fascination over these years. I usually end up taking a small hiatus every year, or few years or so.

I play Alliance on the NA servers. I do have a few horde toons however :3 Anntann93#1749 is my tag if anyone would like to add me ^^

I've been playing since vanilla but my first max-level toon wasn't until BC. Then I didn't raid until WotLK where I found an amazing group of people to play with. I didn't play during Pandaria because life and travel etc but I came back a week before WoD came out. Currently I am spending way too much time with the game since I mythic raid and there is so much to do to stay on top of things this expansion. It is exhausting! But I love my wowfam so it's not a terrible thing.
