hey guys, thought i'd have another contest - a bit of a bigger and longer one this time! this one will be a little more complicated but hopefully the prizes will be worth your attention hehe.

this idea came about because of the wonderful hidden gems thread by , which has users posting great custom wearables that have made it to the pawn shop. i think, especially now with the cw market plateauing and it's highly saturated nature, it is important to remember the value of versatility versus the rarity/availability of an item!

so the basics of the contest is this - create three separate avatars using one custom wearable that you can find in the head or chest section of the pawn shop. the goal is to show that one item being used in different looks and styles! just because it's cheap or easy to find, doesn't mean that it can't be used over and over again (which, really, is more value for your buck)!

what you can win ❤️ first place: 2000csc gift card ❤️ second place: 1000csc gift card ❤️ third place: 500csc gift card

if we have more than fifty (50) complete entries (multiple entries will not count) i will upgrade the prize pool to 5000csc, 2000csc and 1000csc and add two honourable mention prizes for 500csc respectively! that's fifty users with three qualifying avatars each before the deadline, for this to come into effect. you can see the prizes here.

entry info ❤️ take a screenshot of the item in the pawn shop and post it with your first entry! there's no way to me to really absolutely check bc of the changing nature of the pawn shop, so we're trying for the honour system here ❤️ you can post your three avatars as far apart as you like, but please make sure to post them in a new post so i notice them ❤️ edits to posts will likely not be seen unless there aren't any replies after yours, just fair warning! ❤️ you can enter as many times as you like (please use a different item each time), but only one will count towards the prize pool upgrade

judging ❤️ it will be based on how you show the cw's versatility ❤️ classically fashionable avatars are great but i also realise that not everybody makes avatars with this goal in mind, dont be afraid to go off the beaten track! ❤️ i will take into account if you use a harder item vs an easy one (a colourful item vs a entirely black item/large vs small etc.) ❤️ extra points for people that choose cws that have been in the pawn shop for a very long time! ❤️ extra points for users that use different bases/skintones throughout their avatars - this is something people often overlook so i'm saying it now! ❤️ give me 24hrs after the competition ends to judge please! ❤️ prizes will be sent directly to winners at the end of the competition so you have to have gifts enabled or someone else will be chosen!

I tried to go for something out of my comfort zone which is a teal color I don't use often. I was really feeling the pink/purple/teal vibe going on while working on these, so they're very bright and colorful.

I think I'll try a second time with an item even more out of my comfort zone, but now I am tempted to buy this wig. >.> I'm sorry, I'm so used to wearing my skin tone, I will try more with maybe some of my newly acquired Moros skins.
