So my current battle pet, Salamando is a tier 4. I'm slowly trying to get more and more into battling but I still don't really have a good grasp on it as it seems rather complicated.
So really I'm looking for any good suggestions for weapons and scrolls for a tier 4 pet. Prefferably things that aren't terribly expensive, but I'll still look at some of the expensive options too, I just don't want to break my bank on battling as my SP reserves are held primarily for my pet TCs and story work. Thanks so much in advance for the help. <3
Also, please ping me in your post so I know I have replies. Thankies. <3
@ Slowerthanzero - You haven't really given us much to go on. What are you currently using (Weapons and scrolls)? Are you looking to beat anyone in particular? You typically are going to want 2 main attackers, some healer(s), a freezer and some defensive item. Are you using modifications on your weapons? How much is "not terribly expensive"?
@ Amanda - This likely belongs better in Set Advice?
Ahh I apologize, I am a bit clueless in this department and failed to mention that.
No, I'm not trying to beat anyone in particular, rather i'm trying to find a set that is a good universal battling set.
My set is currently:
Weapons:
Armored Groblin Rreign Mace of Malice Stinging Gauntlet Aquatic Wand of Blasting Sparkling Quill Rainbow Quill Ultima Tag Icy Freezing Rod of Doom
Scrolls: Ruby Heaven Terra Spire
I have no modifications as i have no idea what I should or shouldn't have on them.
As for expense-wise, I'm preferring weapons and scrolls that are no more than 3 Mil. anything under 1 mill is certainly preferred, but I am willing to buy a few of upwards of 3. But I do want to see what else is out there that I might consider.
Also, my apologies for this being in the wrong section, I should have payed a little more attention to the detail of where I was posting. ._.
@ Slowerthanzero - No worries. I'll admit I'm not super up-to-date on low level battling, so someone else may be able to give better advice, but for starters:
I'd look into getting a as a primary attacker. 15-20 icons and 40 heal for under 2m. Something like the can be a slight improvement to your - an extra couple icons of damage. May also look at upgrading your into a - it's super cheap and gives you a touch more healing.
Your isn't bad at your stats. Eventually you'll want to upgrade to a , as it is once per battle 100% heal. ~10m.
Next tier you can look into upgrading your into a , for a higher chance of freezing and a some defense.
Most weapons can be modded, these are extra stats added to your weapons. They can be bought in the Battle Shop for the battle tokens you get randomly after beating opponents. They can be added to your weapons from the armory: Here.
You have 28 AP (Every 16 intel is one AP, AP are used for scrolls). Once per battle blockers that aren't full or mostly full blockers are kinda useless - I'd look at trading Ruby Heaven for something else. Something like is dirt cheap, does slightly more attack than your and heals 4% (Which is now a whole 12 per turn, but will scale with you). Check out this thread Here for details on all scrolls. In the not too distant future you may want to upgrade to something more powerful, look specially for things that have percent heals - Divine Denizhen, Terra Focujin, ect.. Check SubetaLodge (A fan site) on how to make them.
Wow! This is very informative! Thank you very much for such a detailed breakdown. Are there any specific reccomendations on mods I should put on? Or is anything in general I choose good enough?
- At your level, it doesn't really matter. There are two main "levels" of mods, Tear Crystals and Baguette Crystals. The tear crystals either do +2 attack icons, or +2 defense icons, while the more expensive Baguettes do +3 attack or +3 defense. I'd just search your weapons on SubetaLodge, see what icon types they do the most of, and add Tear Crystals of that type to them. If you're trying to beat someone specific, you may want extra defense of a certain type, but that's rare for your level. Note that you cannot get mods back after you put them on your weapons.
There's a couple other types of mods, critical strike, healing, thief, ect... These may be worth looking into once your a couple tiers stronger. I personally like Blessing of Natural Armor Tear Crystal's. They help prevent freezing and stealing, and are relatively cheap.
