rare disease day is feb 28, 2017
basically i have a rare disease called ptc (pseudotumor cerebri) / iih (idiopathic intracranial hypertension) that causes intense head pain. i got a vp shunt placed in my brain on 2/5/14 which saved what was left of my eyesight and managed to dramatically reduce the swelling of my optic nerves due to a buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in my brain. im going back in for a revision surgery though in the next couple weeks (nov '16) so keep me in your thoughts!

the 1st time I saw one I was like mosquitoooooooooo and my brain broke and is in constant fear so that might also explain lack of slotting for me for nowww

Don't worry, crane flies look like mosquitoes but they don't actually bite! They're just kinda big and startling.

I mean it wouldn't be an effective disguise, since crane flies are so huge :P But I wouldn't be surprised if mosquitoes were masquerading as /something/ to sneak in some bites, I can never catch the sneaky bastards That was kind of my reason for choosing the CI! I was gonna do a spider at first but I thought drawing something new would be fun.

I don't deal well with spiders either so I'm glad it wasn't a spider ci omg xD probably masquerading as flies or something but like silent type, the ninjas of the insect world /shaky fists
