How come Quentin is not dressed up like the other quest givers. I think she should be

I'm not sure how the artists decide which NPCs to draw costumes for (since I think a couple are new from the past couple of years) but like Pete and Sarah aren't dressed up either. It's probably just up to the artists if they feel like drawing a costume and Quentin didn't get one (but I'd like to see them get a costume too, maybe next year)

First off, I'd like to point out that Quentin is not a she. Quentin uses the they/their/them pronouns (as seen on their Subetapedia article) because Quentin doesn't identify as one gender or the other.

On to your question: Quentin isn't the only one without a costume. Pete and Sarah are also not dressed up for Morostide. This is probably because the artists haven't had a chance to come up with costumes for them. It's not a simple process, as not only does the artist have to actually go through the process of creating a detailed drawing but someone has to decide what would suit that character's look and personality. Along that same train of thought, it's also possible the staff feels there is some particular reason why those NPCs wouldn't want to wear costumes.

yes you are right I never realized. But they haven't the last few years right? If it takes a long time then they had years to come up with something. It would be nice to see costumes on them.

Sarah actually does have a costume, she's dressed as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. You can only see it when you're poor enough (or put it in a private forum group, like I do) to do her quests, though. Otherwise it defaults to her standard outfit.

Sorry, my bad. I checked but it doesn't show her in costume if you can't do her quests so I assumed she just didn't have one lol

That leaves Pete and Quentin out of the "regular" quests. I looked at the other "unique" quests we have and it appears that Shinwa and Reischen are also not dressed up for Morostide. Did a little research and they have all had costumes in the past so it's possible they'll have costumes in the future. If the staff decides they shouldn't have costumes for whatever reason, I kinda hope there is a little bit added to their lore to explain why.

i don't think quentin ever has a costume, probably because they don't consider morostide to be that different from any other day living in the graveyard amongst the spirits and critters... every day is morostide for quentin.

Before their art was updated, they dressed up as Wolverine from X-men. I feel like they only wore that costume once though and it was several years ago... I think it was before the staff really started to work on character development for the Subetapedia. Not super sure on that. -shrugs-

Long long time ago Quentin had dressed up as Wolverine. But I think as times changed the idea was scrapped. Or forgotten.
