My battlepet is tier 10, but I've only now begun taking battling more seriously than "Let's see if I can hammer this guy into the ground", and my armory is in need of a serious overhaul. There are already several threads here with advice for tiers 9-11, and I've been reading them and making some changes, but now I'm at a crossroads.
My main weapons right now are . I got these based on advice against Forj, but now I'm done with rekindled, and it's gonna be a while before I can take on her erupting stage. My main question is this: should I keep Aspersion? I have another Riptide: would a second legendary combination make the Aspersion worth keeping? Or should I sell Aspersion, Riptide and Sentinel and go look for something like the Blessed Trident instead?
The rest of my current set: I have a phoenix quill to heal, and intend to get a reviver of the lion. My freezer is the gorgun, and I've picked up a recycle blaster.
My final two weapons are , but I'm thinking they need replacing.
Anybody got some advice for me? ^^
I would sell the Aspersion, Riptide, and Sentinel. Legendaries aren't very useful for your tier.
Once you save up enough battle tokens, upgrade your freezer to (Intricate Energized Helmet).
I gave some recent Tier 10 advice here: T10 - Set, Scrolls, Training - HELP! and the same information still pretty much applies. I particularly do not like the legendary + Sentinel combination because I feel the Sentinel just takes up and wastes an extra space in your set that can be utilized better. If you want an example, is similar to Sentinel, has a heal of 10%, does far more icons, is very affordable, and does not need to be paired with anything.
What does your budget look like? I would definitely sell your legendaries and sentinel, unless you have lower tier pets that can use them. Generally as you start to take on impossible challengers, there will be 2-3 icon types that they will use to do a lot of damage against you. Which icons varies from challenger to challenger. For that reason, you are going to want weapons like the that blocks 90 earth and heals or something like that blocks 40 ice and 40 magma and heals. The more weapons you have that block 1-2 different icons the better. These type of weapons come at a large investment, but will remain in your set for as long as you continue battling. If you're strapped for sP, you could try some entry level weapons that are decent in certain situations, but you may find yourself struggling to pull off wins. Scaling weapons like
Eventually though you are going to want to save up to invest in the more expensive weapons or you may be able to win them once your pet becomes stronger
Thank you both for great advice! I'm gonna sell my legendaries (or try to anyway). I'm definitely investing in a reviver of the lion and a replica minotaur knocker (it'll be good for my second battlepet too, who is only tier 4). As well as looking into all the other weapons mentioned on the other set advice posts. A lot of battlers seem to need a helping hand around tier 10, so I've got plenty of reading material.
I managed to make the robot legs from the tokens I have. Gonna keep working on it. Think I'll pick up the arm bangle too. Thank you for pointing it out to me!
My budget goes up and down like a jojo, but right now I have around 200mill, which is at least enough for the ROTL and RMK, as well as a few of the cheaper options, and hopefully the Aspersion and Sentinel will sell. I'll have to build my armory slowly. The three you pointed out look like nice starters, so I've already picked up the plague claw. The other two will be very nice once Blighte hits 2000 speed and strength.
Legendaries are a select market, either for people that have multiple low tier pets or are collecting them for the achievement. I remember someone was buying them but that was a few months ago. I hope you can find a buyer. I haven't won my own manifesting weapon yet so my now T12 pet uses the flail and manages to beat crawbeast for BQs. It was hit or miss at T11 so I'll see if it's any easier now but it does manage. is another one if you don't have the gelatin slayer or maniacal essence that is a decent dark blocker when you have 2,500 def. I had no problem taking on malerias familiar with it
The great thing about Subeta is that there is always something more to strive for. I just beat Nightlady for the very first time, and you and Jess advicing me definitely helped a lot, so thank you for that. But there is still so much more ahead, and I've barely started on tier 10. I've picked up a Comet Flash and popped it in my armory.
