Cash Shop Book/Food catergories

This week, since this is the weekend bonus, I was trying to look through the CS and get all the books and foods I needed for my pets. However, what I found is that the "Book" tab and "Food" tab only display items that are solely just a book or a food. Which is only a small percentage of the actual amount of books and foods in the CS. Looking in the "Themed item" tab and "Clothing" tab and "Special" Tab results in a ton more books and foods mixed in with other items. There are quite a lot of items and I'm not always sure which items are consumables, so I end up having to look them up on Subetalodge, just to be sure I'm getting items I want. So I'm wondering if all the book and food items can be dual listed, both in the "Book" or "Food" tabs as well is in their other respective tabs. It will mean I won't miss items that I would otherwise buy and therefore, I'll be throwing more money at the site :)

That's not really how typing works, unfortunately. and I have to pick the type that we think works best. For the Themed Items, we keep them that so the entire set stays together rather than be spread throughout the various tabs. That's generally why a clothing set might all be clothing (when there's a food or two involved).
I do understand that but is there no way for the books to populate in 2 tabs?
Like how the antique shop works. All the items are in their respective tabs, being epicon or reading drive. But then all the books, food or stickers are also in one tab marked BOOK.

The antique shop and cash shop are different code! The Antique shop isn't sorted by item type twice, it's sorted by shop + type. It gets a little dodgey if we tried to do type + use in the cash shop because beanbags and stickers aren't technically marked for a use in those collections like books or plushies are. No matter what, it'd have to be something in the future if/when we revamp the cash shop shop. :)
