While it's not hard to navigate to the news page to use the "ToT a Random House" button, it might be a nice addition to make the ToT alert a link to a random user's house. That way, if anyone would like to ToT someone specific, they can go and do so, but those of us who are just ToTing random people most of the time have that additional access. :)

Yes please! I'm surprised this wasn't done from the start of the event, now that we have this random ToT option.

It would be convenient, but I'm actually okay with not having the ToT link directly to the random ToT event.

I know not everyone appreciates event forums, but I think deliberately constructing the alerts to bypass the forums would isolate people more and would take away from the event forums, which are there to get people posting together and socializing and creating communities (and also to the Morostide FAQ threads which answer a lot of questions for more casual users).

I think it's enough that we have the random link at all. c:
