Stats of my battle pet are:

Level: 402 Strength: 1000 Defense: 971 Health: 0/907 Speed: 882

BC Set:

[item2=Shinwas Temple Shard] [item2=Deluxe Death Shard] [item2=Eternal] [item2=Lucent] [item2=Shinigami] [item2=Mirroring Shield of Brilliance] [item2=Amadeos] [item2=Mist]

My BC set has been the same for ages... Years ago I just put some weapons together and never really changed them. Mostly because I do not know how the BC system works here and which weapons are recommended. Ok, I know I need a healer, a freezer, a shield and some attack & defense weapons that are doing pretty much damage. That's all.

I know I have been training not enough regarding all the time I am here, but I'm trying to fix that. My pet is not able to beat most of the event challengers, except the real weak ones. Same with the BC opponents, Mechalog and Pete are the hardest I can beat, the rest is not possible. Honestly, I dont know if this is a matter of weapons or training or both. I could use some good advices on my current set because I think there is a lot to change, though I do not what exactly sigh.

You will definitely want to add some healers into your set. You can pick up from the MC and I would also pick up if you have the funds for it from the antique shop if you can't find a seller.

Blasters are also extremely useful. and again only if you have the funds are the best blasters to get. If you can't afford the somas, the calvin blackmoon blaster can be a temporary alternative.

The temple shard is good, definitely want to keep that. You may also want to consider a 100% freezer like or until you can use the energized helmet. I prefer the collar over the gorgun even though it's more expensive to buy with battle tokens only because it also blocks light. My weapon set is completely impractical now since it mostly consists of combo legendaries like moonshine and infinite. The nice thing about the combo legendaries is that they hit hard, have 4 mod slots and can have some nice perks when combined with the sentinel. starts off as lack luster dark blocker at T7 but can become a low budget dark blocker once you hit 2,500 defense so you don't have to spend an arm and a leg for things like malice or gelatin slayer. is nice to have until you hit T10 and can buy the ornate hook swords.

What scrolls do you have? scrolls can really make all the difference in battling too. They can provide healing when your weapons cannot and they can also fill in the gaps for icons to block.

Thank you Wesker =) Honestly I do not have any scrolls, though I'm working on my pets APs. So far I have 30 APs so I think I could get Gift of the Forj or maybe the Lucky Scroll as an additional healer with some pretty damage icons. Or should I get something else instead?

I do not have the funds for everything you have mentioned without selling other stuff or even saving up, but if necessary long term goals are fine =) When it comes to a freezer I do have the Deluxe Death Shard. As far as I know its a 100% OPB freezer with some additional icons and blocking some dark icons. It should be better than Gorgun, but maybe its actually worth to add it to the Collar. But I guess you cannot equip more than one freezing item, or can you?

Im a bit dissapointed by the Eternal and Lucent. Preferably I would get rid of them and get something else instead because through all the time I never ever used them in a battle.

I'd go for an infinte healing scroll over the ones you mentioned. Aftershocks, Ocean Currents, Skelly and Feather Explosion are some examples of those. Usually cost 15-16AP they often give you some attack/defense icons and heal 7-8% per turn, which is always nice to have, DDS is perfect for your set right now, its a decent freezer until your tier 9 and can get a Energised Helmet.

You cant equip more than one freezer, but you can equip more than 1 freezing scroll! I don't know if you want to add two PW scrolls, but they have a fair chance to freeze your target and they cost 7AP each, or you might wanna use CE scrolls which blocks a fair amount of icons at a 7AP cost too.

is probably the best constant in this tier, if you don't have a trident (cant use both until tier 9/10 though).

Forever searching for; Please contact me if selling

If your funds are limited, I would suggest investing in the Pheonix Quill first and maybe the Reviver of the Lion if possible. The next thing you should invest in is a solid infinite use healing scroll. My personal favorite is the Aftershocks Scroll, but I also use Terra Focujin and Divine Denizhen with my smaller battle babies who have less AP.

Then you can worry about things like blasters, different attackers, and specialized OPB scrolls.

Speaking of attackers, I used the Arrow Harpoon when Dominant was T7. It's got a great heal for that tier, outdoing the percentage healers. However, it loses its advantage pretty quickly once the pet's health is in T8 range. It's super cheap (comparatively) though so you might consider it.

The Deluxe Death Shard is a 100% freezer and it is better than the Gorgon or Collar so you are good there. Also, you are correct about only being able to equip one freezer. If a weapon is labelled as a specific thing (such as freezer, healer, or stealer) you can't equip another weapon with the same label. There are a few weapons with nice chance freezes though that are not labelled as freezers in the Armory so you can equip them in addition to the Deluxe Death Shard. The ones you could currently use are the Freezewand of Doom, Reborn Icewand of Doom (RIoD) and Frozen Ocean Curl. The Freezewand is a T5 weapon and the other two are T6s. (Note: Freezewand and RIoD are both labelled healers so they can not be equipped at the same time.) At T8 you'll be able to equip Rapier of Error and Sierrac Basal Ice Flail. Having weapons with a chance freeze can be helpful to get chain freezes so they are a good investment IMO. Having freezing scrolls helps even more but - not surprisingly - they are highly sought after making them very expensive. Neither the scrolls or chance freezers are necessary though, just useful.

If you are serious about battling, it's better to consider long-term. You will want a diverse selection of weapons and you'll have to learn to strategize. (One strategy is to over-train for the opponent you are trying to beat, but eventually you'll run into opponents that are purposely designed to negate that particular strategy.)

At a certain point, many of the weapons will scale because it extends their usefulness and makes them more suitable for continued use. These are the type of weapons that a lot of battlers invest in. However, some opponents will pretty much require you to be able to block a particular icon type, chain freeze, or use some other specific method. Unfortunately building a solid high-tier armory is very expensive and it's likely you'll never see a reasonable return on your investment sP-wise.

An infinite use scroll would definitely be more beneficial for you now and maybe some cobalt eternal and sancturia exodin scrolls since they only cost 7 AP each. Perilous whirlpools are very nice since they block all fire, have a chance to freeze and only cost 7 AP as well. My favorite infinite use scroll for people with budgets used to be Aftershocks, but those are still super inflated. Feather explosion will be more affordable but costs more AP. may also be good, but there is a chance it may heal your for -3% instead of a positive heal.

I completely missed your death shard xD yeah that is a lot better than the ones I mentioned. Yes only one freezer at a time!

Yeah the regular legendaries aren't that great and even the combo legendaries are really not worth investing in since there are better options for cheaper at tiers 8 and 9. The knocker is nice to pick up because it scales with your pet and offers a % heal, which most items at lower tiers don't have.
