I'm trying to check the progress of a couple friends on some of the seasonal achievements to help them out. When I go to their user profiles and click on "achievements," I'm usually able to have all their achievements load under the relevant tab, but sometimes I get the following error message:

Quote

There no unretired achievements in this category, click on &;retired&; above to view the achievements in this category.

If achievements are linked on most users' profiles, it would make sense that other users could view the achievements said user has earned. I don't know how long this error has been cropping up because I have only been checking achievements the past couple of days. Sometimes the error sorts itself out when I switch to viewing another user's achievements, so I don't know if it's just a bit of a bug or just bad luck on my part. I didn't see any other topics regarding this problem in the past four months, so it could be a newer issue or it could be that not a lot of users check others' achievements.

(For the record, happens in both the current version of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. I'm running Windows 7.)

Unable to view achievements It's been happening since the new achievement system was implemented. Just keep trying, sometimes they will load correctly. That thread I linked to is almost a year old and nothing has changed, so I doubt it will ever be fixed.

@ Jess Awesome, thanks. I didn't dig through that far, but good to know I guess that I'm not the only one with that problem.

[edit] Can you lock this thread please? I had forgotten that the P&B forums are exempt from the necro rule.

The achievement system glitches as bad as the wardrobe for me. It's pretty awful, even looking at my own achievements.
