According to my calculations, I'm getting a new item from ToT and the patch only about 1 out of every 6 or 7 visits. I have 100 tattoos and demon horns from last year. Why can't we get more new items and fewer items from last year/previous years when we ToT or visit the patch?

It's random, we're getting items from last year and this year. A lot of the new items, from what I've seen, aren't all that expensive anyway and it's only the 3rd day. I'm not sure about the Pumpkin Patch, but there will be more Trick or Treat items to come this year. Right now there are more items from last year than there are of this years' items in the pool of items we're given so I'm going to assume that's why we're seeing older items more often.

We still have about a week and a half left for the festivities. Any new items we don't get this year, they should be in the prize pool for next year.

I guess I'm not 100% against an increase. I just don't really see why it's necessary.

- It may be random, but it's heavily weighted thus far toward older items. It just makes sense for the old items to come up less often than the new ones. Ex: I've received one new book and at least 10 of the books from last year. Same with the rag dolls. The new ones should come up more frequently than they are, JMHO.

Most new items are already below 100K and we're October 19th.

That's not really needed

Are you kidding? It's so early in the event. We aren't entitled to every single new item right away either, just play and get what you can, people are happy to swap doubles until you have what you need.

Indeed. I have 2 items left in my WL and we are day ...2?3? It's easy enough to get things if you ToT the right people to get the right items. Plus, you can also trade things 1:1 to get the item that you want. So I won't support to make them easier to get. A lot of them are cheap enough already.

I'm going to bump this back up to the top, since it's a HUGE issue with the rreign items and Charity items, too. Charity is giving 4-1, old items to new items and it's frustrating. It makes the value of the old items plummet and it makes giving items to be burned or to Charity entirely not worth it. Please consider limiting the number of older items given out. Just let us have some of the new ones, please.

idk about anyone else but I've been getting way more new items than old from charity and the bonfire. Maybe you've just been unlucky so far.

I just price checked the new Fireside items, and the majority of them are under 30k in shops, with most of those falling below 15k. That's really affordable, and prices are likely to fall even more before the holiday ends. If the rate was any better, this year's items would become frag fodder.

If you're having that little success burning items yourself, just sell your floaters and buy the bonfire items. It's cheap and removes the chance aspect. That's what I did during Morostide because most of the new items were affordable enough then, too.

I don't see a problem here.
