Pretty soon, I'm going to be ready for my next two pet slots (or maybe I'll just continue to save so I can grab three at once...). But I need a little help deciding the species for one of them.

• Pet is based off one of my D&D characters. She's an aquatic elf, who, after spending a good portion of her life working as part of a salvage crew in the deep ocean, decides she wants to try her hand at being a pirate. Only, she doesn't know how to actually BE a pirate, to put it lightly. Hilarity ensued in our campaign as she assembled a pirate crew (the other players). She's arrogant, money-crazed, and doesn't really care about the well-being of her crew, being more into machines (class was Artificer/Swashbuckler).
  Color idea: probably Aqua. I'm just not really sure what fits her, species-wise.

For some reason, the aqua lain seems the best fit to me. I'm not sure what you think about that though o:

Thanks for the input! All of those are really good suggestions; I had thought of something Hydrus, but put it on the backburner after the result of the plot in favor of Aqua. A steamwork torrent would also actually do pretty nicely as well, fitting in my character's obsession with machinery.

Maybe Aqua can be a placeholder color.

So now that I've got a lot of nice options, I think I'll mull over these and pick... I'd say accordingly, but it'll probably end up being at random. Blind-picking. Pulling out of a hat? I'll figure it out.

I really like the idea of her being a Steamwork Torrent as well. But I'll throw you a couple more x3

(ack, I keep deleting the wrong Events!) High five for D&D! Also, love the suggestions! Didn't think of the Mahar, for some reason. With the piratical earring and the gems, it should've been obvious...

I think I'm going to throw all of these into a hat and have a neutral party (my boyfriend) draw one. Because there's so many good, viable options that I'm back to not knowing what to pick. :'D

Did you end up picking? I thought of the Gold Mahar first as well, but something like a Serpenth or a Fester also popped into my head.
