What are some things that would attract you to the site? While providing perks for people who recruit is great, it doesn't necessarily give the new accounts something that's super-exciting.

Mine would be to take some of those old CWs from the pawn that don't sell and assign them to new accounts, although I think Keith's idea back when of account-binding the items would be a good idea as to avoid them just being sold back.

What's your suggestion?

Moved this to the mainforum, brainstorming is for staff only to make threads in :)

Old CWs from pawn being given to people will just end up in these CWs being in the pawn shop again in the short run.

That's why I suggested revisiting locking the item to the account for it; I noticed how many people just chucked their CWs from the last giveaway right back into the Pound.

Alright. I don't agree (The way staff handled old CWs via raffle was better, imo) but it's an idea.

A working wardrobe, interesting battle system, near zero downtime, economy not suffering from hyper inflation...

I don't see the point? We should be rewarding those who recruit, to lessen the burden of obtaining new members. New users already have a ton to done, tons of achievements, collections, ect... What's not super-exciting?

I'd prefer those items stay as not account bound. You'd have to introduce the ability of having some versions of the same item be account bound and some not. That's confusing. Giving them away via the raffle worked well, I also wouldn't be opposed to have the option to buy them back from the pawn shop at some point in the future. Only concern I really see it trying to prevent csc inflation if they were given out freely.

You got a forum point while making a post! Check out the shop here!
Also - just kidding, I couldn't care less about the wardrobe, but it appears a vast majority of users do.

Wouldn't this encourage people to make extra accounts just to get free CWs? Maybe just give newbies 500 CSC so they can buy things they want (they may already be getting this, I have no clue).

if they were to do that, they'd be frozen since it's against the rules.

Yea, but newbies might not know that. I know they're expected to read the rules, but I'm sure a lot don't.

If it were to become a problem, I think maybe reinforcing the rule in the newbie tutorial would be a good idea just to avoid that. I don't think it should cause this not to happen though if people do think it's a good idea.
