I'm pretty sure it was working this morning, but now I've noticed my notepad widget is just gone from the sidebar. It shows on the widgets page that it should still be there, but for some reason it's not.

It just suddenly started doing this, and I haven't changed any settings or anything so I'm not sure what happened.

I'm using Chrome ~

It's working fine for me in both Firefox and Chrome.

Subeta's Twitter mentioned removing the sidebar ad for non-GA users earlier. I wonder if that could have messed with something?

Ah, maybe so. I think I had blocked that ad because it was getting annoying. Let me take that off and see if it works.

Could be. With the ad removed, the Notepad widget may now have that section's ID, causing the filter to affect the Notepad instead of the ad.
