Dude forreal. I miss the forum pulse. I feel like when it died the forums kinda died.

I miss the forum pulse thing as well. ;___; Here, you'd think more people would post because the community guidelines are a tad stricter, making it friendlier, or at least for the forum points. D:

i definitely agree with the guidelines cause the forum experience to be much more friendly. i miss how active they were. i would've hoped that would draw people toward them more, i know if they weren't like that i may not have come back

ditto, it was getting a bit out of hand before they got introduced xD I wonder if we could do something about it though - like trying to make regular topics on various things in chit-chat? would that work?

Would people want to talk and meet new people / share things? ;O

that's definitely an option! if we and maybe a few others were to dedicate to making topics and whatnot in chit-chat on topics we know a lot of people would be interested in, it could make it more worthwhile to come to the forums.

maybe also creating a ping group like # chitchat to encourage return to different threads when they're created? or something like that? I know I get turned off by seeing ping groups in first posts but if we made it clear it's really open to literally everyone..? c:

this sounds like a swell idea, honestly. it's worth a shot at least! but yeah if there were to be a ping group we'd definitely have to make it abundantly clear that it's for everyone!

ive been trying to refer more ppl on site to get the forums more active but its hard U____U i miss how much fun i had on forums (granted....back in the day it was all drama) but i feel like a lot of sites are having slower forums nowadays i think bc of social media being bigger parts of people's lives

everyone can talk to me, I'm always on the forums and usually reply :C

Hopefully when Morostide comes people will be far more active....

I feel like between 2015-2016 Sub lost around 30-40% of the userbase. (Give or take...) I remember it being much more active around 2014, but I was not too active during 2015. I also miss the forum pulse. I used to use it a lot. It's nice to see where people are actively posting so you can go jump in if you're looking for conversation.

hey! i hope it's okay that i pinged you all! usagi and i have started a ping group (people who like posting) and if you'd be interested in joining, our goal is to use it as sort of a forum pulse, and have everyone involved try to come together to create chat-worthy topics and let everyone know where we are talking! we are hoping to have this little group grow, and make an effort toward making the forums more active. :)

I think pet sites in general are suffering. Subeta is coming out with some great stuff though! I think that Subeta, for a long time, relied on people coming over from Neopets. Subeta doesn't do much outside advertising so numbers are dropping, which is a shame because Subeta has been pretty great imo the past couple of years.

I joined the forum group because I'm always online and willing to chat but always too scared to talk to people in well established groups and/or people who are well known. Plus the shoutbox is intimidating. I interpreted the ping group as if we see or make an interesting question/discussion chit chat topic we ping the group to keep the ball rolling?
