This was an issue that was fixed during the early part of the year that is now back again. The last few days I have noticed that when I load a page that has ads on it (search shops, quest givers, forum posts, etc.), I have about a half a second where I see the page, and the ad is not at the top of the screen. Then, the best way I can describe, it "remembers" it should load, and it inserts itself up at the top of the page. This causes my buttons to jump down about a button-width lower than they were previously. It causes me to miss clicking very frequently, particularly while I am questing and clicking fast.
It doesn't seem to have a particular ad that page-jumps upon loading. I've tried to keep an eye on whether it's one set of ads, or if it is random, and it appears to be random. One time a page will load fine with an Aflac advertisement, and the very next page when I buy an item, the same Aflac ad will push all the buttons lower because it didn't load at the creation of that page. That's just an example, and there are other ads that have done this with no obvious pattern.
I do not currently have a gold account, and haven't had one activated recently. So I haven't had any account settings which would have changed the advertisement status bar. I really hope it gets fixed soon!
