One of the perks, I like to think, is if I really enjoy your style I tend to be a returning customer (even if it takes a long time and if I can remember).

As for what I'm looking for, I guess what ever ten bucks can get, that's reasonable. I'm always wanting to be fair, and I'm aware that for art ten dollars isn't a whole lot. Especially for artists who live off of commissions.

With this in mind, I prefer there to either be no background (white) or an invisible background. I'm not expecting colors or any full body arts.

My only request is that the drawing really captures the character's image and personality.

i could do a waist up black and white drawing for you for $10! i'm fine with working from a description. it would be in this style, lines with greyscale shading. here's some more examples! let me know if you're interested!

sounds good! i do have two questions. do you have any poses in mind? or any sort of clothing in particular you'd like me to draw him in? (i know you have a description of his style, but i wanted to make sure there isn't anything in specific you'd like him in!)

Well I think the only thing I can think that I'd really like is for him to have pupils... Haha... Uh, I do most often see him with a smile, a quiet/humble sort of smile.. If that makes sense, but for a bust. A post doesn't really come in mind.

Other than that, he is in some pretty average clothes and or his work clothes. This is the style of jumper he wears for work, though I don't mind some creative liberties to be taken to make it a bit more interesting. It definitely wouldn't be that crisp and clean since the ones he wears, are by now, old and well worn.

haha, y'know i didn't even realize none of those pictures have pupils! i will make sure to give him some. and i think i know what you mean about his expression! thank you for that reference, i can definitely do something like that.
