Five individuals are sent letters from a science lab, stating that they want to run some small tests on them to see how they tick, as the four people mentioned have oddities among themselves, most notably the mana energy that resides within their blood. This energy of only present in those who have abilities unlike your average person. One had the ability to conjure flora at her will, another had the ability to control and create dark matter, the third could create bubbles in time called Seer's Holes, which allowed her to transverse her current area while in the past which made objects in the present day obsolete (as in, if present day one is in a room with four walls, they would be transported back in time, where the walls no longer bind them.) and finally the fourth could stir the dead for her use, if she so chose. Finally, the last person found that she could control nuclear substances without harm, or so it seemed. The scientists wanted to explore these powers more and see if there was a way to replicate them, or if they were strictly bound to bloodlines.

Rose had gotten the letter and had every intention of going, but while driving there, she got into a horrible car accident and passed away. She was buried normally, and her loved ones mourned her death with sorrow. A few months pass and those who have agreed to be tested on find themselves in a labyrinth of torture, the head scientist they simply know as Baldwin turning the honest experiment into ungodly abuse for the subjects. As he was a sick and twisted man, he sent out co workers of equal sickness to go and dig up Rose's body, as they were going try an experiment with her corpse: they would restore her body and place the heart of a deceased old woman inside of her to see if they could revive her. Somehow, by a miracle, their plan worked and soon after the heart was placed inside of her repaired body, Rose was alive again. Though she had no memory of her past life, as her memories now took on that of the old woman's heart inside of her, she was fully functional and alive. And somewhere, deep inside of her, her necromancy power lay waiting to be discovered again. The sciences never got to experiment on this, however, because soon after Rose was brought back to life, the other four prototypes, as they were called, collaborated together to escape their prison.

Rose found herself, though a bit stiff at first, able to do everything she could before with her body which made her invaluable to breaking free, as the other prototype in her wing, Prototype Wound, was rendered blind and unable to see. With Wound at her side, both escaped the same time as the others did, though at opposite ends of the facility. Afterward, Prototype Vixen became severely ill at the hands of her power to control nuclear substance and died. Prototype Slick, terribly heartbroken, passed not long after. This left Prototype Florafae out in the open, as she had been living with both Vixen and Slick. Luckily, Wound kept in touch with Florafae, or Steevie as is her real name, and since her and Rose lived together, they took Steevie in with them.

Details after they all join under one roof are fuzzy, and since I've already written more than intended I'll stop there.
