I tried participating at the beginning, only to find out that I could only play a game in order to gather food for my team. From what I was reading, a lot of other people had this issue as well. I often work / am up late, or during the night, and usually sleep during the morning, and other posts I've read have said that "you have to be on Subeta at the right time in order to participate".

Since then, I've lost interest in participating altogether. Is there anyone else that just really isn't that into it?

I'd also joined Team Steele (Team Blake), but everyone else seems to be Team Gold (Team Saggi). I haven't seen Blake once feature in the majority of the plot News posts, and they all seem to feature Saggi. Most of the posts I've read also seem to favor Team Gold heavily, which is also discouraging. In a way, I feel kind of left out, since Team Steele doesn't seem to be as vocal / popular as Team Gold and its members.

I beg to differ here, Team Blake got most of the advantages at first and I think they'll be getting the most points for the trial paths? I'm Gold myself, but there were many complains about everything in the plot, it got me discouraged too.

All the site errors and everything just made this plot the worst one so far for me, after 9 years in subeta, but that's just my opinion.

It wasn't a bug that you only had one activity. The other activities were random obstacles that appeared every once in a while on the trail. However, when both teams made it to camp at the end of each day, all 5 activities were linked there so everyone could catch up and still get plot points. The trail race was just a little competition, whichever team made it to camp first got some bonus plot points. I think both teams made it first an even number of times or close to it, I forget.

Teams don't appear to matter anymore since the competition part is over. Now we're just individually exploring the temple, doing the puzzles, and gonna have a boss battle tomorrow.

I wasn't into the trail portion just because it was fairly boring even with obstacles around. ;l Plus people getting so cutthroat was sad to see.

I prefer plots with tailor made steps (like the ones we are getting now with the rooms and puzzles) that I can do as an individual because as soon as it turns into a team oriented competition, it no longer becomes as much fun for me personally. :x

That being said, I love the dialogue and actual plot of this plot. Just not the initial execution. Looking forward to battling the boss. Can't wait to see who/what it is.

I'm not super into it either. Just mindlessly completing it. Was hoping for some stronger opponents though.

I had the same problem with hours online so by the time it got to individual parts, I was over it.

But I'm sure I'm a minority! This is my first time participating and ive never really trained my pet so I'm pretty useless anyway, haha.

People seem to be enjoying it which is good, Ivthink pleasing good players is more important than my salty butt, but thanks for reading my petty whine :P

Overall I've been enjoying the plot a lot! Especially the temple and now Merana action. Ngl though the trails were awful.

I've really enjoyed the last few days with the puzzles, but the trail part was just horrid for me. It felt like it dragged on and getting the 5 tasks done felt like more of a chore than fun for me x.x I wasn't into it at all for those trail parts, but the story and dialogue has been really fun!

I really dislike team-oriented plot activities. People will join a team and then not participate for whatever reason (reasons may be perfectly valid, but still hurt the team if they're not there), people tend to get mean and it's just overall discouraging, especially when there are random events like the obstacles. I am glad they let us catch up on our 5 activities after we reached camp, though. I did my best for my team when I was around, but I just wasn't here a lot... I can't be constantly glued to my computer (as much as I'd like to be). I love plots where there are puzzles to solve, even though I suck at puzzles, with the occasional battle element for those who love battle. Overall, though, I have actually enjoyed this plot and I love all the NPC backstory we're getting!

While I might not have liked how the event was carried out, IE the times of cetain events in the middle of the night ect. I did appreciate the plot continuation of the Islanders and the Sea Witch getting some attention, as someone who has been on the site for a while, I like it when unfinished stories get some love. On the other hand, I am 50/50 about team-oriented events, if done correctly and not back to back. they can be tolerable, like reading drives or restock wars. As long as this style of event is not the new status quo and the next one is hopefully a solo- I can manage it.
