One of my pets was finally kicked out of the spotlight queue after sitting in it for at least 3-4 years (Though I think it was closer to 5 years). I'm not even going to bother with it anymore now. I can't say I'm terribly happy with this. Especially since I can't find some of the issues they mentioned but eh... All around a bit disappointed here.

Edit: It seems that some of the issues were already resolved. I got a very nice message so I hope the rest is easier fixable. Again thanks everybody for the kind words. c:

Wow thats a long time. Longest I've ever heard of! That sucks majorly. It would be really nice if pets were reviewed in order of the nominations because that is so wrong to have it sitting there for that long and then be booted

:/ Damn that sucks. I think my longest time in the queue before being kicked is around 18 months or so. 3-4 years is so long to wait o_o

It was one of my first pets ever and I think the first pet I adopted. And I agree...would be nice if they were reviewed in order instead of some getting stuck in limbo. I heard it's because with fanpets it's sometimes tricky when the Admins don't know the series/book/etc. well but this was an OC pet so... -sighs bit-

Holy shit! I created a pet in January 2012 and he won the spotlight in October 2013 - and I think it took me over a year to even get him ready for spotlight. It sounds like your pet was in the queue back when mine was, or even before that. That's... what even. I hope that was a glitch!

I have no idea. Obviously the queue doesn't go through the nominated pets in order and the judges also have no way to see when the pet was nominated. So...yeah... I guess I just had had phenomenally bad luck? XD Thanks to a few people helping me the issue should be resolved now though and I hope to re-nominate the pet in a week. c:
