I think there used to be a link to the old status page on the Subeta is down! page (the one with the terracoon), but the new page hasn't been added there yet.

If the whole point of having a separate status page is that it's available when the site itself is down and people can check it to find out what's going on, it would make sense to actually direct users there (instead of Twitter or somewhere) when the site is down.

(Sorry if this has been suggested before - I did a quick search but didn't find anything in S&I ^^)

I think I saw staff mention somewhere that the site down page mentioned the status site, so they probably don't realize it's not on there anymore.

But of course when I realized that, the site was down and I forgot to mention it on whatever thread I had seen it on ;P But yes please, it'd be nice to have it back

I thought about adding this in the P&B forum instead, because not having the link there definitely feels like an oversight with an obvious fix, rather than a debatable suggestion for improvement...

, do you think this is something we could ping Amber or some other staffer to fix? Adding the link is such a small thing, but it would be very helpful when the site goes down again.
