Scrolls missing at battle start.

I've had this glitch occur off and on over about a week, perhaps two at the most, during both BQ's and regular fights. It'll happen once and then not again for several battles. My scroll selection is just blank at the beginning of the battle. There's nothing there for me to select. I'm using Windows 8 and the latest version of firefox.
A couple of questions: Do you have multiple pets that are able to battle? Does this happen only when you go to fight through the weapon selection page or also when you select "fight with defaults" in the challenge page?
I've noticed that if I accidentally click on a pet with less AP than my main battler (and less AP than required for my default scroll set) in the weapon selection page, it removes the selection of all scroll sets and unless I reselect a set after picking the correct pet I end up with no scrolls in the fight. However, it seems that sometimes the scroll set selection mark vanishes also even when I haven't misclicked anything. It doesn't seem to happen when I have just one pet eligible to fight, though.

No I make sure that only Kilroy is capable of battling. The only other "able-bodied" pet is the one I just adopted about two days ago and this glitch has been occurring for longer than that.
So far as I remember this has only happened following the weapon selection page. I battled about three hundred times early last month from the "fight with default set" option and I don't recall having my scrolls vanish during those two days.
it happens when you start a battle very quick, it takes a few seconds for the default set to load and match the pet's AP on the pre-battle page.. it happened to me before a few times so I'm waiting like 5 seconds and I see that the scrolls radio button is blue and then I enter the battle.
I think it's because of the errors and the lag so it takes time to the pages to load sometimes and it's effecting the matching scrolls moment..
When you click on "fight again" the pet is chosen automatically so the scrolls loads and match together with the page.. so this problem happens only at the first time before you enter a battle..
