On a whim I suddenly wanted to jump into the Pet Overlay thing for one of my pets so overnight I just went crazy on a from-scratch(except for colors) art piece for her and ended up quickly submitting it. To me it has a "fan-art" look to it and looks like it could have used a little improvement, but I'm curious how you guys might think of it?

I like it! My favorite parts are the tail and the head. I also think your use of colorization/shading is pretty good.

If you're looking for critique, the back- and forelegs seem a little off to me, but having just struggled with my own creation's legs, I can tell you: I am no expert. XD

Is she kneeling or walking? That's not quite clear to me.

Aww, I love it. I think she's really cute, and I LOVE your use of bright and interesting colors. I think you did a great job shading everything. I always struggle a bit myself about where to put highlights and shadows, so I'm impressed :)

I think your lines are pretty good, but every art in Subeta is cell shaded, and yours is soft shaded, so maybe you could try cell shading if you want it to be more like Subeta art :) (or maybe you don't even want that, sorry :'( I was just trying to give some feedback)

I was sort of trying to make her look like she was walking, like maybe being part of the way a gentle stride, looking backwards.

Thank you for commenting; I wanted her to be cell shaded, but Subeta's use of it is so skillfully done, trying to do the same style of it intimidated me. x_x I want to try to learn it for future art, though. Subeta makes it look so nice.

I'm no artist and can give no good constructive criticism, but I wanted to tell you her cute face makes me absolutely happy. She looks so adorable. ❤️
