Only one task for Omen Islands?

The games requires you to complete 5 tasks in order to get plot points at the end of the day--I can understand that.
What I can't understand is why there's only one event. The only thing I can do is "Go Hunting" and I've already done that today. Is there a reason why there aren't other tasks to complete, or is this just a glitch in the system?
Other tasks will pop up randomly throughout the day. You will see a notification under the progress bar for your team when you're browsing the site (the notification will not appear in your Event tab). If you want to get notified of new tasks you can join the ping group for your team.

As mentioned, there are obstacles that will pop-up throughout the day, so this isn't a bug. :)

I just completed a task for healing and I still have the items in my inventory and my task has stayed the same (3/5). Is this a possible bug in the event? Thanks!

Did you complete the task more than once by chance? I believe you only get credit for completing it once. Not sure if that is the case here, but just wanted to check!
Nope! I've only done Jewels, the Pacman-like game, food hunting, and then the healing. But the healing task just didn't count, which I found odd when I looked at my items and they were still there.

- I think you had said something about having done the healing obstacle - did it count for you?
It shouldn't be a bug, it's probably just that the items were handed in after the obstacle was overcome. I had donated my items fine, and it counted as an activity.
Progress only counts if you complete the task before obstacle is overcome.

Is it possible you turned them in after the obstacle was overcome?
I turned them in as I bought each item and it showed up on the event page, under the health bar, as if I did turn them in to help. Worse case for me is I just have to do an extra task for the day, which I don't mind -- I like helping! :D Just found it odd that it didn't count the task and not sure if anybody else had this problem?

You have to click them after they show up on the event page to turn them in, did you do that? The event page just shows whats in your inventory that can be turned in.

I also can't find what the next task is....it takes 1 minute and 15 seconds to do one quest...the system is so slow, is this why i'm not finding any tasks??
Having trouble... I have donated some items to Wesley, but my progress is still showing that I've only completed one activity, and that was playing the hunting game. Do I have to wait until the donating is over for it to show up or does this activity not count as an activity?
