I just heard about Subeta a few days ago .. and as a neopets lover (i have made some LONG lasting friends [[like...11 years now and going long on that site but /that's/ a story for another day]] on that site so im hopeful)) i was super excited. It seemed to be a bit more.../mature/... than neopets though. So i'm hoping im not the only 20 something who occasionally enjoys escaping to a world of avatars and cuddly (and sometimes...not so cuddly) virtual pets and fun.

by the way im terrible at reading guidlines, rules, and tutorials so i usually just wing it and figure it out as i go. i might be a noob here but im no noob in general, i'll figure it out eventually LOL.

I love to read. I have a dark sense of humor. I have purple hair. I like to have fun. I have a kid. I spend a lot of time reading r / nosleep and i love sharing "weird paranormal" stories. I can be a creep sometimes, i am actually pretty good at it by now. I like to roleplay. In all manners. I remember from neopets (this is actually how i met my friends there, on the RP boards) there were lots of threads dedicated to long term text based roleplays. Does that exist here? tell me more my fellow strange friends.

Welcome! I'm 24 as well, and used to play Neopets a couple of years back. I even attempted to return to it, but compared to Subeta it's childs play. I love to read as well and yes there is plenty of RP to be had!

Thanks a lot for the welcome, it is much appreciated! I've never heard of Flight Rising but as a chronic "googler" i've already done some research as of your posting and it looks awesome. Unfortunately, for some reason (despite being SUPER interested and ..."wowed"?.... by them) I've never been able to catch the "dragon bug". I wish i could have, though, as it looks super fun! I might have to check it out!

Welcome to Subeta! I also had a brief Neopets phase for a couple of years when I was a kid and had a much longer phase on Gaia Online. Subeta is the best of both of those sites and even better! I don't know much about the roleplaying scene on Subeta, but if you browse around the various forums there are tons of places where you can do stuff like that, and if you start your own thread I'm sure people will join in!

I'm 23, I also adore roleplaying (though only one on ones), and I read a lot! I hate the r / no sleep, because my over active imagination makes it all too real ... But I do often venture on in there when I'm having an insomniac night - because why the hell not, if I can't sleep anyway, right?!

I did have purple hair up until about a month ago - now I'm blonde. And I hate it! I miss my unicorn hair ;-;

The most frequent mistake I make is reading that subreddit XD or any number of creepypasta tumblrs, because I, too, have an overactive imagination and it's the most surefire way to guarantee I won't turn off my bedroom light for the next eight weeks. lol
