Anyone want to talk about losing (or maintaining, or healthily gaining, I suppose) weight? Calorie counting got you down? Need some tips on balancing diet and exercise? I thought this might be a nice place to convene, commiserate, and celebrate getting (and staying) healthy!
To kick it off: I'm 5'2", and I have about 7 lbs to lose to my next goal, after which I will see how I feel and whether it's time to switch to maintenance. I am currently in the healthy range (so is my goal), coming down from being overweight the last few years. If anybody else out there is a shorty, you know that our calorie requirements are different from average height and tall folks, which adds an extra challenge. I use MyFitnessPal and FitBit--maybe we can be friends if we have similar goals, or just for motivation!
This is sort of a blathering intro, but diet and fitness has become a big part of my life so I'm extending it to Subeta too 8D I hope you'll join me!
