Was just looking for some tips/advice from other Photographers ^_^

Lovely photos! I'm a photojournalist and still-life photographer. It's hard for me to photograph families and events because I can't seem to connect with the clients when I'm behind the lens. What works best for me is talking to my clients while only looking through the lens, it helps break down the third wall.

My advice to you is to continue to play around in whatever image editor you're using, go crazy just for fun, with no vision in mind, it's the best way to understand your photographs :)

I use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, what about you?

what image processor are you using?

I tend to do everything BUT portrait photography, so if you have any starter guides/tips for that, let me know haha.

I'm using Photoshop CS6, and occasionally lightroom 5. I want to upgrade and do cloud for 10/month, but gonna have to wait on that till january. :p

& OCEANE - Always stick to your guns, don't let anyone bully you into lowering your prices or getting something for free. Always use a contract & make clients sign a purchase agreement/delivery acknowledgement form, saying that they are happy with products received. Always gotta watch your back because there are some crazies out there (this applies with Wildlife/Nature photography, too, not just Portrait!!) Don't be afraid to price High. If people aren't buying, you just haven't found your ideal client/buyer yet. :) You are an Artist, and Art is a Luxury worth paying for. - I wish I would have realized this when I first started a few years ago!!
