I was wondering what happen to the pages in the comment area of users profiles? Why is it being limited to just one page of comments and no way to go back and answer or read a comment only a few days old. I get limiting because some users will not delete old comments. But couldn't we at least have say 5 page limit, if not an option to have a username box to enter to recall an old comment from another user. Please ping me, if you have an idea of how to adapt to the new change, and see old comments without having to know the page comment occurred on. Please comment your temporary fix you told me about.

I noticed this the other day, as I am one of those that goes back and checks on things. Don't like the one page thing at all either. But I guess it's all about overtaxing the server.

I am not sure why but the comments are still there. If someone comments you and you do a P2P you can see the thread of your comments. That is the only way I can go back and see any.

The pages are there but you have to do a little searching.

Click the 1 at the bottom, let it load, then in the url find where it says page=1 or something like that and change it to 2 to see page 2 or 3 to see page 3, etc.

I think if you add /2 to the end of the URl, it lets you go back some pages of your comments. Just change the 2, to a 3 and so forth.

I thought the same worrying about the taxed server. But would be nice to have option to put a box that you can enter users' name and only recall their comments enough to comment back. Thats hard to do, when the player your looking for has gone from page 1 to whatever pages follow that you can get to. I remembered someone had commented me, and was trying to go back to answer and couldnt. Trubble had told me, that. But it would be difficult if you have to go back more than 2 pages, especially if you are unsure as to possible page it may show up. I would like an option like I was just commenting to Atrueheart.

Open your comments then add &page=1 at the end (You have to manually change the 1 to whatever page you are looking for manually)

Maybe it is a ploy so we don't stray from the site for too long or we will miss seeing comments that move to page 2 :P

This might get noticed more easily if it was moved to bug report or suggestions.

that is true but I like knowing they are still there. I would be heartbroken if they were permanetly gone. I went back 150 pages and I probably have more than that. It is hard for me to let my comments go....

I sure would how it is now, is very inconvenient. How would I go about moving it. Seems like I always post in the wrong area, how can I get it moved? Oh we all have favorite features here. Personally we should be able to keep what we want, but subeta's servers are touchy and over loaded.

You have to click on the number 1 at the bottom of the comments page. Once you do that, you can change the url to any page, I just tried page 5 and got it. You can p2p anyone from there. Cumbersome, but it works. Once you p2p someone, you can find ANY conversation you are looking for my getting the usernumber of the person, and replace that user number with the usernumber on your p2p. On mine it is the (usually 6 digit) number after %7C.
