Hello! I'm fairly new to subeta, but I've been doing art since I was extremely young. I had a DA account before I quit, and I never sold anything on there. I'm not sure how to add pictures to forums, but if someone explained how I'd be glad to post examples. Anyways. Do people sell art on subeta, or is that not a thing? I've had pretty awful luck when it comes to getting commissioned unless it's free, on other sites. Sorry if this is the wrong forum or something!

Welcome to Subeta! To add images to the forums, use [img*]URL of the image here[/img*], as well as text links using [url*=url here]text you want here[/url*] (and remove the *'s for both)! You can sell art in the art market, with some helpful guides, and the rules are here! Most of them are fairly straightforward but one of the rules most people don't notice at first is that if you want sell for USD, you still need to have an sp (or csc, items, etc) slot. It's a good idea to start a ping group (which you can make here) but if you don't want to just yet, you can join the artsale group and once you're a member you'll be able to ping the group (not too often though) using their tag! And you can also do freebies (in the freebie section of the art market) if you want to start getting people interested, but if you don't feel that's necessary, you can jump into selling straight away! C: A couple of tips I have is to make your board as clear as possible (simple rules, an easy to use form, easy to find examples, etc), and limit your slots to what you know you can handle.
