So in this game, you get 5 guesses, and after each of the middle 3 you're told if you're hot/cold from the last spot you picked, right? I played this game today, yesterday, and the day before. Each time I played, no matter where I clicked, I was given the exact same response for the hot/cold info for all of the middle three guesses. For example, I might choose a spot, then choose another spot several spaces to the right and get told I'm getting very close to the treasure, and then choose another spot several spaces to the left of the first spot and once again get told I'm getting very close.

I hadn't played in a long time before the raffle thing started, so I only have data on this from the last three days.

I've gotten this a lot too. Or just once in awhile I'll get "You were closer on your last pick" so apparently the game is working, but I really hate playing it because it makes no sense at all.

I keep getting "you're getting very close" and then when I make my final choice it says "You were nowhere near it!"

Could it be a problem of wording? Maybe he mean to say closer instead? He keep saying "very close" but alas, absolutely "nowhere near"... which is quite misleading.

Lol I've never won this game just gotten a participation prize, basically. I don't know what he wants from us, we're always wrong.

each pixel in the map is a different location that the treasure could be in, so it's not easy at all to win.

I've tried to copy coordinates before, and still it seems random? Or I just always pick the wrong direction. It does seem to be more of a chance game than anything.

I think the treasure moves around. you can narrow it down by approx half each guess but still that leaves a lot of locations it could be in. luck definitely provides a huge role in winning though
