I did try a search on my own but came up with no answer so here I am... what is the purpose of a pets treasure.. what does giving your pet treasure actually do?

It doesn't "do" anything, it just adds to the character of your pet, if you're into that sort of thing. You don't need to use it for anything if you don't want to though

Yes, the items you give to your pet show up on their profiles. So like said, if you have a themed pet then you can give them items that fit their theme, or something like that. There are also achievements for putting items in your pet's treasure, but you don't have to keep anything there if you don't want to.

I like the idea of a theme.. just adds cool factor I guess

My pets all have an army of minions :) Can be used like galleries to show things off as well ^-^
