I just started this series with Origins & two DLCS on xbox 360 a couple months ago - recently bought Origins Ultimate Edition for PC (and modded the crap out of it, bc PC) and am sooo enjoying it! I'm thinking of starting the process of buying DA2 for Christmas - was bummed to hear they didn't have an Ultimate Edition so that's alot more money spent than I really want to spend, but I know It's worth it. I have yet to play Inquisition, either, but depending on how things go with DA2, I might just grab inquisition instead lol.

my current playthroughs are a female Dalish Elf Mage (Yay mods) & female Dalish Elf Rogue. Both romancing Zevran because I seriously can't resist. I find Alistair to be a tad annoying tbh. What's your guys' current playthroughs (any of the 3 games) and who are you romancing? :O

I usually play a Human Female but for Inquisition I normally go for Dalish Elf and I always play as an archer. For Origins, I always romance Alistair because I want to be queen but for Dragon age 2 , I romance Fenris. Inquisition, I mostly go for Iron Bull because he is just too awesome but for me most recent playthrough, I'm romancing Blackwall. However, I always wanted to romance Oghren in origins and Varric for DA2 and Inquisition but can't which upsets deeply because they are my two favorite characters in the series.

I'm addicted to those three games and I always find myself going back to them even when I have newer games to play.

Origins is the best! I usually play as a city elf in that game, but I ended up going through each race type just to see how vastly different they are (especially in the beginning)! And although DA2 isn't the best game of the three, I recommend playing it before jumping into inquisition (especially the DLCs) only because certain dialogue options make more sense and certain characters from that game pop up again. It makes the game feel a bit more...personal when certain things happen based on previous gameplays. Haha.

Right now I'm on my 3rd playthrough of Inquisition - this time as a human warrior. I'm romancing Blackwall right now - but I think Cullen's romance route was my favorite one thus far.

I have a Mage Garrett Hawke for DA2 and a Mage Trevelyan for Inquisition. Romanced Anders in DA2 and Dorian Pavus in Inquisition. I regret absolutely nothing.

My main, canon Inquisitor, Calum is my blond son, the basis of a lot of things on here and at least two books now. c:

Origins is definitely one of my favourite games ever. I was like, addicted the first time I ever played it, haha! I've played all the races/beginnings in Origins but my 'canon' Warden is a human noble (because I'm boring af), and she romanced Zevran. Alistair was my favourite for a while, but Zevran grew on me, and the idea of my human noble running off with an elven assassin just tickled me.

I really enjoy II as well, even though it wasn't as great at Origins (I still played it religiously...) I had a mage Hawke who romanced Fenris.

I'm actually doing another playthrough of Inquisition right now with a human mage romancing Cullen. I usually romance Bull, but I decided to go with Cullen this time around because he's just so darn pretty. I've romanced Blackwall as well, but haven't done it in a while, and I've also got an elven Inquisitor for Solas. I haven't really played any of the Inquisition DLC however (due to only recently having access to a next gen. console), so I'm looking forward to going through some new stuff.

I make a point to try to run through every possible origin and LI, so I'm currently running a LOT of different Wardens/Hawkes/Inquisitors. That being said... I am so, so weak for Zevran, Fenris, Iron Bull, and Dorian. Alistair, too, because I was playing a female Cousland the very first time I went through Origins and immediately latched on. But the first four mentioned are basically the four ventricles of my heart XD

I'd say my most canon runs, however, are purple default Garrett Hawke, having romanced Fenris; a female elf mage named Maeva, having romanced Zevran (and Leliana, because yay mods); and a male human warrior named Hendry, having romanced Dorian.

But I also cannot stop making new Inquisitors, so I have the most currently-in-progress games for Inquisition.

I thought females could romance Leliana as she's bi?? Or is it because elf? o-o

I'm pretty sure you can romance Leliana.

She's bi and not race locked, so you can absolutely romance her no problem. I used a mod to stall the "jealousy" talk you get from whomever you're romancing, if you're romancing more than one character concurrently, thereby allowing Maeva to date both Zevran and Leliana at the same time. Otherwise, trying to progress in both romances would force me to choose between one or the other and make canon poly impossible.

In my canon they've consented to sharing and Leliana has threatened Zevran with scary things if he doesn't help keep the warden safe while she herself is tied up in Inquisition business. For his part, Zevran is hopelessly loyal both to Maeva and his continued existence (the latter somewhat more strongly than the former), so it's no sweat. They're my favorite travelling murder couple (with bonus scary spy gf who has eyes literally everywhere and sends weirdly coded correspondence in the dead of night).

I couldn't choose for Maeva, so I made it so she could have both XD and have also developed about a thousand little headcanons for the whole thing, so please excuse my rambling~~

Oooh, I see! I think i saw that mod on Nexus. I remember having to choose bc i accidentally romanced Alistair and then Zev was Like "Choose." and i'm like "Oh well. Zev it is." XD

I really love your Canon, btw. I need to start writing my head canon down because that would make for some really cool stories. :O I love love hearing everyone's headcanons.

i've finally joined in on the DA:I hype however late i am! the characters are so lovely.

i was planning to make inquisitors to romance cullen and josephine but somehow i ended up shipping cullen and josephine, together, which of course isn't actually possible so now i'm at a loss with myself. ahh. i'll probably still romance cullen since i've already initiated moves and because his reactions are adorable.

frankly though, i remember having a lot more fun playing DA:O and i was probably most immersed in that. please, DAI, light a bigger spark in me u_u
